A new campaign! 1920 start date with the random AI personalities and on Legendary difficulty. As an extra challenge I’m starting with an AI generated fleet so expect some salty language. I can refit ships if I want but replacing ships isn’t allowed until I get a new hull, meaning I’m going to have to fight the French using the dreadful rubbish the AI made…

Russian fleet? I'd love to see a campaign where the whole Russo-Japanese naval war can be played out, complete with sending reinforcements from the Baltic Fleet if the Russian player so chooses. Further, make that campaign possible with later generation ships, just to make things more interesting.
The Soviet Navy convoyed the Barents Sea to the north of Norway portion of the Artic convoy routes. Hardly anything ever gets said about it in the West since everyone focuses on the US and Commonwealth activities in the convoy war.
If anything the Soviet surface forces were worse, relative to rest of the world, than the Tsar’s Imperial navy was.
HMS Royal Sovereign was loaned to USSR and named Archangelsk.
When the Soviets handed her back, she was almost completely ruined. The main turrets were fused to their barbettes as if they hadn’t been rotated during their entire Soviet service.
