  1. Too bad, Zhang lacks consistency, this is what separates the top 10 especially the former Top 3 from the rest. They can play like this in 99 out of 100 times.
Zhang lost his follow up match just now. He can maybe play like this 10 out of 100 times. Not enough

  2. let's stop pretending Ruud is a legit top contender.. he doesn't have a killer instinct and rarely beats top opponents at the slams. i just don't see him ever winning a grand slam, atp finals, or even a masters; he's been a bit lucky with the weak draws to even make finals of said events

  3. The difference between FAA, Tsitsipas, and Ruud is that I am often surprised when FAA or Tsitsipas lose, since they have plenty of weapons in their arsenal. On the other hand, i am surprised when Ruud wins, since he has practically zero weapons, and his consistency is the only thing going for him.

  4. This is where the criticism of Ruud comes from. People putting him on a lvl he’s clearly not on for reaching 3 slam finals, and the more likely scenario which is an early round exit. Most players that reach multiple slam finals can at least consistently reach the 4th rd or qtrs.
