Sean I was wondering if he issued you for citations how will that affect your future Auto Insurance premiums? I think that the insurance companies look at the number of citations irrespective of the charge or accusation and by having four citations in a year it may affect your premiums in the long run. I typically HATE it when people take store carts off store property and then leave it wherever. That’s stealing. However, since this cart was still on Home Depot property, I see no offense to the store and the cop was wasting his own time.

I get that they didn’t bring the cart off the Home Depot property but whoever did was technically steeling. Carts are meant to be used on the property. As soon as it’s taken off property that is theft. This auditor is an idiot.
I always laugh every time we see one of these police interiors. Their "protective" plastic is always dried out, crazed, and damaged acrylic.
Crazed plastic has no protective capability because the fracturing. It's no better than, or worse than, glass at that point.
Edit (addendum):
If you want to prevent crazing all you have to do is use soap and water instead of glass cleaner, as care instructions on the plastic sheet says. Just proof they don't care about being able to see, protect themselves, or able to read.

This is a perfect opportunity for the city to put in a proper bus stop at least a couple of benches with an awning the fact that they do not have that already, and trying to criminalize somebody sitting down resting the legs while waiting for a bus is a punk move

Also, it would be interesting to know what he done other than hang around the area between your interaction with the bus stop and when he pulled you over, was he working? Did he have other situation he dealt with. or did he just lay and wait
