  1. All this would have been avoided if people would have been told to stay at home instead of going to work. The cyclone is approaching the Island and they're telling people that it's going away. And then the next day they tell you to go home at noon because the cyclone is a threat.

Flooding in Port Louis is the consequences of communal appeasement by politicians and municipality in allowing illegal buildings along the foot of Signaux mountain for vote bank Stateland have been concreted over large swathes of land and water flowing down th mountain are no longer absorbed by the soil but rush down into the streets and turn every street nearby as waterways.This is man made and look at the culprits,the municipality of Port Louis ,the mayor and previous minister of housing and lands
    There will be no respite unless all these houses are pulled down
    Don’t blame Husnoo or the govt .Tske some bold decisions and remove all the vermin’s and termites living at the foot of the mountain.Truth hurt but the time have come to take the medicine or this will happen every time there is heavy rain prove me wrong
