YOULL KNOW WHY THERE ARE FLOODS
This is horrible. Hopefully the community groups can alert the busloads of Asylum Seekers coming to NYC about the problem and suggest they go to Boston until the flooding recedes. I know our relocation package offers more free things than Boston's incentive package but I am worried if the migrants come to NYC and have to wade thru water . They could be traumatized and encounter PTSD from their harrowing experience crossing the Rio Grande and possibly end up with psychological problems affecting their ability to work.

No Justice, No Peace! Will social workers and psychologists be available to comfort the perpetually distressed?
If people in NYC were smart, they would leave and move some place else like i did.

This is a very normal thing which happened in Ho Chi Minh city of Viet Nam on every afternoon summer rain. So there is nothing to concern or worry about it.

Air intake would be first because it draws in or SUCKS air and there is also the wave that rides up in front from the car pushing through the water. Every electrical connection would be ruined as well, everything below the water line that got wet, would have to be removed and replaced or dried out, lots of things. Exhaust has back pressure from the engine to keep a lot of the water out, plus it has to get through mufflers and the cat before getting to the engine. Water will enter engine through air filter FIRST since that has suction and is PULLING. Think about when people back their boats into the water. Same thing. Water seeks path of least resistance. Talk to a plumber. If you were to stop in the water and turn off the engine, then water will seek to level out, just like a water level tube.
You can tie together some veluzulans and make a raft at he very least…

Wow, you literally seem to have no joined up help from the emergency services and military. Any other modern country, they would be checking the roads to make sure they are safe and pumping water out. They would be helping people to their destination. You seem to have to fend for yourselves in modern USA. I'm shocked you have no services.

NYC has been having storms like this for the past few years, which is very unusual for the region and this is like tropical storms. The weather climate really has altered dramatically in the city. They need to start mitigating building structures and pipes and grounds to manage these types of things now as the weather climate has now changed in NYC and looks like it will be permanent.
NYC is no exception..Yahweh Will and WRATH..How dumb to drive through it..Duh…

The city of New York has to learn to plan for major weather events.
Proper drainage and pumping systems would have prevented flooding.
You want better results, elect better people.
Why don't they fix the problem when this happens all the time.
I have no sympathy for individuals who attempt to drive through flooded streets.
