Asia, no joke, but I replayed 45:59 several times to relive your last jump scare! That was priceless!
"Babe, I can't!"
"Babe, I can't!"
"Babe, I can't!"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😇
Yes, I went to High School in the 70's, and we did take showers after every gym period, even swimming….lol…and yes, everyone was allowed to smoke on campus, just not in classrooms…and corporal punishment was still being practiced in some schools to a certain degree…she was only bullied mainly by the sosh group, but in her mind/because of what her mother drilled into her head, she thought it was everyone…and yeah, they were the original "mean girls" lol…this was a star studded cast at the time, Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, Nancy Allen, Betty Buckley, Amy Irving, William Katt were all house-hold names in this era
Sad for the girl in the baseball cap, her eardrum actually burst… :/ director went against the stunt coordinators advice that it would be very dangerous to use the fire horse full force like that
No, she was not in on the plan. She was just trying to make up for what happened with her period in the locker room.
Imagine seeing that Prom spinning scene on the big screen. Everyone in the audience was cracking jokes on how dizzy we were getting. One even yelled, "Stop I want to get off!" And then the ending had all of us jumping and screaming. And then we all busted up laughing at ourselves. TRIVIA: Sissy Spacek wore that 'blood' for three days!
I’ve never seen this movie a day in my life. This is around the time my parents were babies. I don’t even do horror movies like that. I just heard that Piper Laurie died. R.I.P
“She was talking… a lot!” Classic!
49:09 "Jesus doll"? I don't know what Jesus depictions you have in mind but it is commonly known – even to non-Christians – that Jesus is said to have been crucified, not shot with arrows.
The figurine in the closet is obviously a statue of St. Sebastian. 🤣🤣🤣
One of the saddest stories to me. It was directed so well with the exception of the spinny dance😂 Everyone's acting was amazing and Sissy Specek's wide eyes are terrifying and perfect 😮
Mission impossible? 1,2,3,4,5.
First thing I thought of watching this as a kid they awakened her mutant powers
Is she dying or???😂😂😂 It indeed did not sound like she was dying.😂 More like the climax she was waiting for.
Can anyone tell me the name of the poster on the back wall next to IT poster, of a face and the title is in the mouth????
Carrie is a great Horror Movie 👌 The First Stephen king Book Made in To A Movie. And Directed by Brian De Palma. 👍😊👊✊
🎃🍁🎃
Her date never screwed her over. He got knocked out by the bucket falling in his head. Mother daughter relationship from what I can tell. Mom was raised catholic to be a pure virgin. Carrie would be considered born by sin by definition of sin being sex itself. Mom explained how she wanted to stay a virgin in her marriage and husband couldn’t restrain himself one night being drunk. She liked sex. Because things went wrong with husband cheating and leaving. She’s resentful of losing her virginity in the first place.
Mom’s whole issue with Carrie is “Don’t be a hoe like me. Stay a virgin, stay away from men. Coming in from prom, it didn’t matter that Carrie murdered all those people. In her mother’s head, she went out with a boy, she’s not a virgin anymore, she deserves to die. This would’ve happened if Carrie didn’t kill anyone at prom n had a good night. Mom would’ve assumed she had sex and because of that she needs to die.
When the bucket of blood came down on Carrie, she suffered a psychotic break. She had finally reached the brink. So she hallucinated that everyone was laughing when only a few did. And because of her psychotic break she unleashed fury on everybody, like a dam bursting.
Y’all should react to king of New York movie 1990
Carrie is a brilliant movie but it's a shame that there are not more reactions to other Stephen King movies this Halloween. I would strongly recommend the Dead Zone with Christopher Walken ❤
Watch The Fly (1986) !!!
Even though you know the story now, you need to watch "Carrie the Musical" on stage. It's obviously a great story, a tragic story but has awesome music and a very creative set! You won't regret it!
Used to terrify me as a kid this one, for all the horrible characters in this movie, Carrie's mother is the worst for me. Salem's Lot used to terrify as a kid also and Poltergeist.
in retrospect, the coach got those girls in great shape or the prom.
@ReelinwithAsiaandBJ I'm glad you chose this to review, I was planning to watch it again because Piper Laurie (Carrie's mom) passed away a few days ago, age 91. She received an Oscar nomination for this role. Also, back in the 1970s, yes teachers could administer corporal punishment (hit) to students, though usually it was as a spanking and in younger grades. It's banned in most states now, but there are still a few states where it's legal. Personally, I didn't witness it in my public school but saw it a few times when I transferred to a Catholic school. Several hits with a ruler across the bottom then sent to the principal's office. Needless to say, I was always a model student. 😇
I dont like this movie, poor Carrie just couldnt win and she turned into a school shooter. Just sad. And what was the thing with the rocks falling from the sky at the end?
the best part of any Carrie reaction is seeing people jump when Carrie’s hand reaches out of the grave 😂
NOT SHRUBS AND HEDGES 😂😂😂😂😂
Y’all should definitely read the book. The movie doesn’t really show how her mother was gonna kill her when she was a newborn or how Carrie was picked on and humiliated by those kids all her life because of her mother and how she was raised. And she not only destroyed the kids and that school but the whole town was ruined.
🤣😂🤣 Shrubs & Hedges!!! 🤣😂🤣
"She slapped her with the Word!"
You guys should react to The Blair Witch Project if you’ve never seen it before. It was one of the first ‘found footage’ horror movies.
Watch. Sometimes They Come Back…1990….great movie
RIP Piper Laurie ❤
Carrie is a horror- tragedy which leans more towards the tragedy side.
