  1. they Couldn't have been going into the EYE of the storm of That was the case the weather would've been Calmer and slowing down bc the eye of the storm is always the calmest so she was wrong about That the captain was trying to get Away from the storm it sounded like to me bc the stronger the winds the farther you are AWAY from the eye

  3. This woman is a clown, I guess with all her years as a ships captain she should have went to the bridge and relieved the captain and showed him how it’s done, I’m sure she isn’t bucking for a refund and free cruise either

  4. I have been on RCCL Vision of the seas in same conditions. Everything shaked during the night. We had +10 meter wave's and above 25 m/s but it was a impressive trip and amazing to see the power if nature when a ship this size are tossed around by wind and waves.

  5. I can understand the anger and frustration from the passengers. Weather can be unpredictable, but it's not that unpredictable. Didn't the captain check the forecast and the radar? The captain should've either tried to sail around the storm or waited out at sea before pulling into port. The captain put the safety of his crew and passengers in jeopardy. Carnival Cruise Lines is known for putting profits and scheduling ahead of safety.

  6. I was on a cruise during a terrible storm with hurricane conditions and I’m pretty sure we hit a whale during it which scared all of us more than anything but they announced the entire time to stay off the main level and were on the TV with messages too. There was a huge dent in the side of the ship when we did make it to port but it was a insane experience that caused us to have to sail for two days out of the way to keep us safe. Trust me they don’t care about the next cruise… they take the route safest and is why this ship got back 9 hrs after they were supposed to. Clearly they tried to get out of the worst post to keep y’all safe. Glad they made it back safely!

  7. Hahaha, this is NOTHING. I went through Hurricane Agnes on a Russian cruise ship as a kid. We hit a 75 foot wave and a 60 foot wave… while my friend I were sitting in the window seats in the uppermost lounge at the bow! Yikes! Welcome to the Poseidon Adventure. We traveled in the eye for a day until the storm quieted enough to make our way out. Our 11 day cruise lasted an extra 4. Good times.
