  1. One time that I needed some spotties was when me and my mate when 4wding there was deep ruts and big bog holes but we made it through all that but by the time we where leaving it was pitch black and raining and one of my head light bulbs was blown so we had barely any light and about ten minutes into our trip home a massive mob of pigs where on the road and I didn’t see them till we where right on top of the a pair of spotties would have saved me a new bull bar πŸ˜‚

  2. Love the videos guys keep up the great work πŸ€™πŸ»Spotties and lights would have been good for driving down the beach at night and narrowly avoiding washed up trees and large ruts haha πŸ˜…

  3. As always guys entertaining and informative.
I live in WA and try to get out there as often as I can. One of my more interesting trips was travelling the coastal tracks north of Jurien Bay. Due to some rather unfortunate luck we had found ourselves still on the tracks way after sun set. Managed to destroy a tyre or two on some limestone cap rock and an unfortunate run in with some local wildlife had delayed us significantly. Anyway back on the tracks and it was very dark and we were trying to remember where our camp was. In the dark and with only high beam on my old GU the terrain looked very different. We missed a couple of turn off's and were trundling along thinking we were not far off when all of a sudden the bush gave way to the Indian Ocean! I mean we were three feet from driving of the edge of a limestone cliff. If we had have had decent lights we may not have gotten so easily lost. Come day break, yep we stayed there, we realised we were only 1km from camp! So close yet so far.

  4. Top time I could have used a set if lights was the drive home from work in broken hill August 2018, only had standard headlights in my GU coil cab ute, the small drive home consisted of broken Hill, Menindee, hay, barham then home about a 9hr drive at night in central nsw with candles for lights

  5. Cracking weekend boys as Graham says suck the guts out of life.
I would love a set of light to accommodate the fact that at night I can see bugger shit all πŸ˜‚. Not to mention how big the pot holes have become.
Loved the episode good to see Jocko has a new play mate😜

  6. Doing a night run in my local tracks on the Gold Coast. Thought I was clear of a rust but was too close and the side collapsed and I slipped in. Had perfected panels until then, luckily it was only a few scratches and no dents etc. Some half decent lights woulda helped ay haha

  7. Big Red? Well, a mate and I took our stock as a rock dual cab dailies out on Cobaw some time ago… ended up stacking rocks into the night, and lemme tell ya, could have done with those lights 🀣 would have saved a few slips in the slick mud running around with small boulders and dents in the utes

  8. Spotties would of been a great choice when I was taking Dads DI for a night drive and came head to head (literally) with a brumby πŸ˜… Safe to say, Car: 1/2 | Horse: 0

  9. Ok, after a few wobbly pops, up here in my off grid hide-a-way in the mountains of BC Canada, I have to say that I always get a smile from watching you guys attempting to do what I have to do every weekend just to get home and back to work on Mondays. ( OK, not quite as challenging, but it hasn't snowed yet…) I probably don't qualify for the prizes but I don't really care, I always enjoy watching your adventures in a land I'll probably never get to be in.

  10. Set of spotties would have done me well when I was on a trip with mates in Robe SA. Cricket on the beach for a little bit to long and had to trek back to camp in the dark. Those sand dunes really do change on you and almost rolled on the way back. Instead a difficult recovery that we all bonded over.
