Car break-in victim tracks stolen camera and gear to SF, gets surprising response from police

When Justin Schuck called the police to report he had located his stolen camera and gear worth $24,000, he was frustrated by the response he received. Police knew the location he was talking about as a โ€œknown fencing operation.โ€ So why hasnโ€™t it been shut down? https://abc7ne.ws/3LAocGL

  1. very interesting that everything is digital and if it's either on a solid state hard drive, SD card, or USB drive it can be recover, with software. It's just excuses for them not to recover the video. @abc7news

  2. A blue city in a blue state, that means the criminals are treated like victims.
You need to move to a different state.
But don't move to the state I live in. We don't need people moving here that vote for California type politicians.
Criminals here go to jail and thats the way we like it.

  3. It wasn't shut down by the police because the police are being paid off by the fencing operation. It's a lucrative contract they have with the criminals. Duh, doesn't anybody at this news channel have critical thinking skills? And what type of weirdo leaves $24,000 worth of gear in his unattended car?

  4. And whenever the cops do try to do their jobs, they're confronted by an army of phone-waving, cop-hating anarchists screaming about "racism" and "police brutality" and "BLM". Some of whom might include city council reps and other local leadership.

  5. I guess it is time to quit shopping at the stores and online and just down to the fencing operation and do your shopping. Great deals and no sales tax. But remember to bing your own biodegradeable earth friendly green shopping bag.

  6. An almost identical case happend to somebody I know. It was in LA. He arrived at the Airport, rented a car, and while was parked and in the process of loading his luggage – $ 12 K of Photo equipment and personal items, a group of thugs broke the cars windows and snatched his belongings.
Thanks to GPS trackers in the boxes, he was able to lead the Police to the actual door where the thugs lived. And? A no go. The police declared that this is not enough evidence for them to enter that place.
This has nothing to do with insurnace but everything with liberal politics. A total success for the woke community was achieved. That's what they want – destruction, demolition, to create an environment in which they can rule.
