  1. I'll never understand the hate towards graphics mode lol. I want the game to have maximum atmosphere and you don't get that with just framerate. HDR, ray tracing, resolution? Gimme it all!

  2. I was initially put off by the demo, not because it's bad but because it made me think that maybe I just don't have what it takes anymore. It's been a long time since RE4 and I don't really play shooters. Character action, fighting games, Souls, etc, all day. But aiming a gun is a skill I don't have. Was very discouraged.

Then I watched Huber play up until he got merc'd by chainsaw man that first time and it gave me the inspiration to try again! Crushed it first attempt. I just needed to be reminded how to play RE4. Thanks Huber.

Also; so as I was fleeing some enemies I accidentally hit crouch as someone in my path took a swing at Leon. Leon actually did a little running duck thing and dodged the attack without breaking stride. It was super cool.

There were other moments where there seems to be other little contextual ways to shirk off or kind of sidestep enemies? Question mark? Seems like some deeper tech is under the surface here. It's very cool.

  3. I do not get it Capcom, xD

I am from Spain, the game was released in 2005 and the peseta was not any more the currency from March 1st 2002. The Euro came out on January 1st 2002, but booth currency were in use for 2 months.

BTW… peseta comes from "pieza" (piece). More exactly from the catalan word, "peça". And peseta means "peça petita" and results in "peseta" (small piece).

  4. still cant be bothered to show cutscenes in widescreen.. couldnt see mouse sensitivity anywhere plenty of options for controller as usual leaving it feeling slow and sluggish. the widescreen is just luaghable tho, your playing in 3440×1440 only to transition to CINEMATICS in 16:9. eugh

  5. There's an alternate chainsaw guy intro cutscene if you don't go into the shotgun house for (I think) a certain amount of time. It focuses on his eyes a bit which are pretty freaky looking. I also saw a little scene where the chainsaw guy cuts some support beams and makes a part of a house collapse, but I've only gotten that to trigger once so far. There seems to be a lot of stuff like that where different things can happen depending on how you play.

  6. This was a great live. Had a few moments. One that stood out imo, was mentioning “We Happy Few.” A solid 6. 6/10. 🤦‍♂️😭
    RE4 is back.! 🥳👏

  7. My friend is Runebee, the one wearing the jacket in the pre-show (her own coat, not wardrobe).
She asked about the chainsaw controller and Capcom USA said they have no plans on a rerelease "at this time"

  8. There's a secret TMP weapon people found. You need to completely empty your inventory just before entering the village. Then ther's a well that opens up in the area behind the cow.
