Im thinking the manga will give us some additional background information that the movie may fail to touch upon properly or leave out entirely.

I am soo happy to finely see my girl Jill back. I really hope to see her in RE 9.
I always felt there was a separation between Remake and OG timeline, so it is a little odd using that model, down with the costume and necklace too.
It could be that the model is under contract for X amount of installations or it could be that they don't want to show off a modern older Jill since RE5 remake may be next in line.
Dunno, just babbling here.
