Nice video. But I do feel they neglected to mention how the water around these islands quickly became near stagnant. Which means they aren’t good for suitable for swimming and are breeding ground for insect larvae.

When the Executives of Nakheel were presented with this idea, no one, I mean NO ONE, thought to consider long term consequences?? That right there should have been a strong enough case to oust the Executives from power. All the decades of wealth, drained into projects led by dumb nuts who only see what they want, but not what is going to happen.
We haven't gone in-depth into human rights, but that is a whole separate topic. From a technical standpoint alone, these projects are doomed because of incompetent leaders.
