Canada post workers are lazy, they should be thankful to have a job, not making unrealistic demands.
Nice to not get bombarded with junk mail.
Normally I wouldn’t even notice but they are holding my drivers licence and passport hostage. Not my choice in who was going to deliver these two items but it’s pretty sad that the two times they got a delivery I needed this year they failed both times.
They have job security union or not for time being. Don't need more food insecurity knee jerk re-actions. keep your jobs.
Canada post is a Gov't service that provides mail and package delivery to all of Canada which includes very remote regions actual private businesses won't touch. Give them their raise, pay a decent wage. Fund Canada post enough to undercut fedex, dhl, etc private companies so as to reduce overall costs though economies of scale.
The same strike from years ago and the same outcome from yrs ago..More part timers and some of the full timers got fired..It happened to me in the early 70's.

It seems the true reason for the Feds' refusal to intervene in the dispute is the looming Federal elections. It is no secret that the union is a stronghold of Liberals.
So Union wants weekend shifts to get double pay while this business is trying to stay afloat. The whole reason why they want to do weekend delivery is to compete with others. You cannot do that by paying overtime.
Canada Post is about as relevant as the telegraph
It's disappointing that they are holding packages including passports and welfare checks.
This is another embarrassment for federal government. They should give an ultimatum to CP.

So many kids will disappointed and sad that they didn't get Christmas gift from family members who live far away. greedy and disgusting.
