  1. It’s sad that JR had to both heavily misplay and dead draw in the lugia game in order for yveltal to win. And that’s with you picking the best possible counter play from the last 10 years. I think a control deck from some era probably has the best chance

  2. This is actually the type of video I was hoping to see in the future!

Would be cool to see a version of Lithium's Cross banlist cup (ygo channel/series). Basically all the best decks from history of the game compete in a bracket to see who comes out on top.

  3. I also have been testing the older decks against this new op meta. While Yvetal works against decks weak to Dark Pokemon its just not strong enough against other decks. However, there is one older deck that is still strong enough to achieve at least a 50% win rate against this modern meta — and that is a Night March deck modified using Ditto as the main hitter. All other decks I have tested simply do not have the power to one or two shot these modern op Pokemon.

  4. I wish people would use the more appropriate term of "toxicity" instead of meta it's a way more honest description of most any competitive game.Notice how that word isn't used in actual sports competitions…

  5. So, the real power creep has been on Pokemon health and damage? Yeah, sounds about right. lol Honestly, this just showcases how awesome Galarian Weezing is right now, and it hurts because he is going SOOO soon! That new ability lock Klefki or whoever will help…but he is smaller and doesn't stop Lugia at all. I just hope the weird Lugia Strike Box is nowhere near as oppressive…

  6. I've been still thinking about this myself with the Mega Mewtwo (Y) EX deck with Garbodor. Good thing MewtwoVSTAR is very similar for me to keep the dream alive.
