Iโm surprised the first computer didnโt explode when you tried to run Activity Monitor the first time while Starfox SNES Opening Cutscene Simulator was running. XD
No shaders makes it look like an iPod commercial from the early 00's. Especially the way the colour keeps shifting
This gives me jontron vibes
Apple is shit. Not necessarily MacOS, but their business model is trash. Just use a Linux distro instead lol.
some of it reminds me of NaissanceE
Can you play Halo on a new Mac?
you could get a G4 Processor upgrade for it
the old mac UI still looks fresh and modern..way ahead of its time. .. looks better than windows 11 lol
bro this looks like roblox lmao 15:07
Damn, I remember playing Halo PC on a circa 2005 Compaq laptop with a 4:3 screen ratio and having a better experience than on the G4. The only thing that was lacking during play was any bump-mapping.
It wasn't even an expense laptop, it was mid-range.
it's a mac who cares.
but can you run shrek noire on it
playing Halo via MacBook computer or laptop shoot that's actually high-tech, & nostalgic.
I have a powermac g4 and an emac g4 that i forced 9.2.2 on for some wagon train 1848
HAHA they made a master chief joke in the refresh rate lmao
Looks like superfx on the snes
where did you get your 'legal' copy of the game. I want to try to run it on a VM.
now instal Doom on it
Where did you find pirated halo? ๐

Actually most CRTs had more than 60 Hz and some went easily to 120 Hz at certain resolutions, it was all depending on the beam getting a whole image which at lower resolutions can go over the whole surface 120 times a second. LCDs on the other hand need a high resolution because that will be native and maximum at the same time so they're usually as high as possible but for high refresh rates it needs a higher pixel clock. So LCDs introduced a tradeoff between native resolution and refresh rate where CRTs could run lower resolution at higher refresh rates and vice versa.
I can be your friend Matt. Besides the fact I live in Canada thatโs ok right?
wow that was pretty cool
no but this is pretty cool
No.
The glitches from how the old Macs can run Halo feels like a alpha/beta version of Halo, depending of the Mac
Had that same iMac. Seriously was obsolete after 2 years. Could even open a USB drive
No
Like trying to game on an old electric toaster.
Textures are for the weak minded gamers
wow that looked horrific
Is there really no way of changing refresh rate on a Mac?
Will this work on newer iMacs
