The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom starts us off in a very peculiar place. The Great Sky Island takes the place of Breath of the Wild’s Great Plateau as the player navigates this area to unlock more abilities for their zonai arm. But can we leave this island early and sequence break the game? Let’s find out!

I figured I'd cover something early-game first in TOTK since I know some of you are still avoiding spoilers!

  2. When you started talking about building “stupidity long bridges and ramps”, I legitimately thought you were planning to try and build one long enough to reach the ground

  3. Neat run & analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
It's always interesting when stuff like this is at the innovation & development stage; To me, such stuff is far more interesting than the "Who can do the same stuff but with better reflexes?" that comes later.

  4. When I first got Ascend, I used it to get to the very top of the Temple of Time, thinking there would be something cool up there. Turns out nothing is there, at least as first. I didn't try to leave the island but it was fun just seeing how many places you could get with just the innate abilities.

  5. What about getting accend, then going under the temple with floating platforms?
Goal being to get behind door without the hearts for it and trigger cutscene that gets rid of death barrier.

  6. The part where you talked about moving the two floating platforms around…….That's how I got to the shrine up on the icy section. I gave up on finding the path, said "SCREW IT!" and used two of them to get up there. It must've taken me fifteen minutes or so……..But, that's infinitely better than the time I poured into looking for the right way up!

  7. Seeing as of how half the speed run is you being stuck on the sky island I'm sure someone will find a way to get oof the island especially with how many completely game breaking glitches have already been found in just a month

  8. If you put enough weight on the floating platforms, they will start to sink slowly and you can ride them down as they do. I didn't find out about this until I was off of Great Sky Island, but it might be worth a try

  9. The first half of this video was just me going in blind to Rito Village and building a bridge of logs because I didn't talk to an NPC that is very conveniently placed to tell you a better way to get across the gap using a singular pinecone.

  10. You can try going to the back of the temple of time after doing the 4 shrines but without going into the temple (use ascend or ultra hand to get to the 4th shrine without rewind)

  11. I think that because we didn't got to leave the great plateau in botw without the paraglider, it would be pretty weird we found a way to leave the sky islands
