At the end of Bleed Me Dry you get Dinner Bell, a unique variant of the hunting shotgun. Dinner Bell has the advantage of greater damage compared to a fully-modified hunting shotgun, but is less accurate and holds fewer rounds, making it a mediocre reward for what I consider to be one of the more difficult quests in the game.

My trick with the hacking is to select a word or two at random then, if they fail it gives the number of correct letters in the correct spot. I then point at the screen like a cave man just discovering computers and slowly spell the initislly selected word while counting the number of correct letters on my other hand like the caveman suffered some mental damage in the ice getting him to said computer. It doesnt work all the time, but often enough tbh

I mean, in the “challenge” definition of pacifist, sure, you can do the whole van graff quest line, but that last one is REALLY tricky to fit into the philosophical and real world definition of pacifist.

Dinner Bell is the best shotgun in the game.
Slug are good for long range, the best round for close combat is 4/0 Buck shot Magnum hand load those are the 2 rounds you need to enjoy the whole game. Snipe long range with slugs. Blow up bodies with the 4/0buck
