Can western heavy weapons turn the tide in Ukraine? | Ukriane latest

German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said her country has delivered Mars II multiple rocket launchers and three howitzers to Ukraine. Germany earlier pledged to send the weapons to Kyiv. โ€œWe keep our word,โ€ Lambrecht said. Lambrechtโ€™s remarks came a day after the first batch of Gepard self-propelled armored anti-aircraft weapons arrived from Germany to Ukraine. The first shipment had five Gepard tanks. Berlin had pledged 30. Lambrecht said that around 60,000 rounds of ammunition, mainly from the German armed forces, would also be sent to Ukraine. Berlin had initially been opposed to sending weapons to Ukraine. But, after pressure, the government pledged to provide arms from the German armyโ€™s stockpiles and the weapons industry. Germany has also been negotiating weapon swaps with other countries in a bid to quickly supply Ukraine with heavy weapons. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Wednesday that talks with the Czech Republic on a tank swap to support Ukraine are nearing completion. Berlin had already agreed with the Czech government on the delivery of 20 T-72 tanks to Ukraine in exchange for 15 German Leopard 2 tanks, but Baerbock said negotiations on the details were still ongoing.

  1. Itโ€™s not the weapons making a difference. They are but tools. Whatโ€™s making a difference is the motivated and optimistic Ukrainian soldiers and citizens who arenโ€™t letting Russia walk over them. Itโ€™s all the grit and determination of the fighters.
    Slava Ukraine!

  2. โ€œโ€ฆif they have enough rounds.โ€ That is the critical line. Ukraine already had MLRS systems and those were also targeted. The only winner in this war is the US military industrial complex

  3. Everyone knows that the USA, UK, and some blind NATO countries, as usual, are secretly fomenting a disastrous proxy war for their own gains, profits, and interests.

Actually, the losers are Ukraine, Russia, the EU & the world, but not the US or the UK.

Shame on the civilized world and humanity. !

  4. World War III Has Begun; How It Unfolds Depends on Us

We think of the Russia-Ukraine war as a local conflict, but it is much more than that; it is a global war on multiple fronts. The war is not only a military conflict; it is also an economic war of attrition. With skyrocketing gas prices and shortage of staples, people all over the world are feeling the consequences of the war

This war is transforming the entire modus operandi of humanity. Since the dawn of time, we have been accustomed to living by the motto, โ€œsurvival of the fittest.โ€ By and large, the rule was that the strong determined the rules, and the rules were often abusive toward the weak. Now, it seems like a new mindset has set in: Wanting something and being strong enough to take it does not mean that the world will accept it.

The war, therefore, is being fought on the inside no less, and perhaps more than on the outside. Our very makeup is changing from abusive to cooperative, from narcissistic to altruistic.

It hurts, and it will not happen without a struggle, but it is irreversible. This is the path of our evolution toward the purpose of our creationโ€”to encompass within us all of creation. To do that, we must come to care for it, just as a mother encompasses her child through her maternal love.

The struggle to transition from our current uncaring and mean approach to all creations but ourselves, into wise and compassionate beings is called โ€œthe war of Gog and Magogโ€ or Armageddon.

Since the war is about our inner makeup, we can fight it within us. If we object to struggling with ourselves over who will ruleโ€”the ego or loveโ€”the physical reality will force us to choose love nonetheless. However, it will do so by hurting us in a very physical way.

The war in Eastern Europe is nothing compared to what we might have to endure if we resist the process. The horrific descriptions of our sages and prophets hint at it, and we would not want to live through it.

Alternatively, we can fight this war within us without firing a single bullet. The choice is in our hands. All we need is to continue in the same direction that nature is already leading us: toward connection. If we make an effort to care for one another, even though initially we donโ€™t, then we are moving in the right direction. If we try to resolve conflicts not with guns or even legal battles, but by strengthening the care and friendship between us, then we are saving lives and sparing torments from countless people.

In conclusion, let us try to rise above the hatred and see the human on the other side, who suffers too. Let us think that this war was given to us so we would think about each other more than we have so far. After all, were it not for this war, we would not notice one another. Now that it is here, we are no longer indifferent. Although our feelings our currently negative, now that we are aware of them, we can work on them together and turn them around. These are the wars of the Messiah who moshech [Hebrew: pulls] us out of the ego, and into mutual love.

  5. Of course they can turn the tide but they need more than just a dozen of them. They need a constant supply. You ain`t gonna win a war with 10 Pzh 2000 and 10 Himars, might they be as good as they are.

  6. You know, it's interesting. The one Russian ship we know about that has been sunk is the Moskva.

The closest Trump ever got to a Trump Tower: Moscow was in the nineties, when he almost got a deal through to renovate a hotel in Moscow, an old, unremarkable soviet hotel. It's name?

    The Moskva.

  8. Laughable HIMARS can target and destroy Russian targets BUT could not target and destroy the Taliban in Afghanistan. You remember the noise you made on Howitzers but now nobody hear about HOWITZERS. What happened? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  9. I know people want peace, but in all honesty I believe the only way to end this is to defeat Russia on the battlefield, and the sooner this is done the less collateral damage there will be. The West needs to wake up.

  12. What Russia doesn't understand is that each "HIMAR Missle system " is not only g.p.s. guided but each missile is assigned a number & these numbers are in the data base & the U.S. can see where & when each missile is not only fired from but exactly where it strikes. So when Russia claims that himars were used to attack the prison where ukrainian pows were being held is known right away that no himars were used to strike that prison & also russian soldiers are using stolen cellphones from ukrainian civilians to call their families & these calls are being recorded. One of these calls has already caught a russian soldier telling his father that the prisoners were not attracted by himars but it was a staged attack by Russia & he goes into very specific details that he whitnessed & couldn't understand why they are doing false flag attacks on prisoners because it's too damn obvious that it was a staged event & how they did a sloppy job.
