Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we start our journey going from ZERO to HERO on our mage alt, Mcjones! Weβre going to begin our journey to get to a +20 key (of our own) from nothing.
Unlike most of the mythic progression videos I do for Dragonflight, in this one Iβm giving myself a goal. The goal is to get to a +20 keystone from nothing, to pull my weight and eventually carry, and to learn the dungeons in the M+ rotation right now on Dragonflight.
In this video we get incredibly far on this character with huge gains in the item level, keystone, and skill departments. We also finally obtain the Birdwatcher title with a little help from a friend, and we try all three mage specializatiosn, with a major focus on both Arcane and Frost during the video.

on frost youre not consuming your brain freeze stacks man. when ever you use flurry, ALWAYS follow up with two ice lances. only frost bolt if you dont have brain freeze procs/fingers of frost procs.

1 rule Iβve learned playing mage for m+ never hold your cds as long as the pack wonβt die during your cds. Otherwise youβll get those low overall numbers you were getting

yes, if everyone leaves the raid/dung while the roll is going, the one left auto wins. lol
Not sure if anyone has told you about this yet, or if you even want it because it can be considered cheating, but there is an addon called Hekili that helps out alot with DPS rotations, you can modify it so it can even tell you when to pop your cd's/defensives/potions etc.

I love how you came back to life at 35:28 lmao. Yeah, pugging M+ is hell, I had to do it in BFA because PvE was required to do PvP then and I couldn't raid and it killed my interest in PvE for several expansions. I'm so glad I could find PvP vendors again.

idk the end of the video is kinda yikes. blaming others while ur doing negative dps for ur ilvl and still trying to push with it. should probs learn how to deal dps first in lower keys before u start blaming ppl on their fuckups. no1 wants to see some1 do 20k total dps even if they ''never die''. dying 10x is less time wasted then even since they easily make up for it by doubling the dps if not more

Next I think that one of the problems you're having is that mage isn't super easy. (For example everyone thinks Arcane is just a 1 button spec, but as you came to learn in this video it's definitely not.) For me when I went from maining a warrior/ret paladin to trying out mage it wasn't one of those classes that just instantly clicked for me and I started pumping giga dps. It was a slow gradual learning curve where making small tweaks over a large period of time added up to big numbers. If you stick with it you'll get there. π

I just quit WoW 2 months ago cause it didnt really catched me anymore after 13 years of playing… now I kinda wanna play again.
Arcane Mage Main btw π but I still get confused sometimes when to use which spell etc. and I play arcane mage since draenor.
But if you really want a dps spike do: Rune of Power, Arcane Surge and after that just spam Arcane Blast until you oom. Then you Arcane Barrage, Evocation and Mark of the Magi and spam Arcane Blast until you oom again.
You should deal massive dmg with the right gear.
I am currently playing an Evoker healer and a monk healer healing can be easy but not stressless

I feel like you are really gonna enjoy demon hunter Dubz. I feel like the mobility + pretty simple rotation will be your cup of tea. Simple in terms of its easy to learn and still enjoyable. As well that u got pretty good sustain + invulnarability if you spec into it which means u can solo a lot of content.
