I pulled a javy baez out of 35 in capstone
I was looking up prospects and Roderick Arias is ridiculous. Scouting grades go 20-80 and Arias, at 18 years old, is 50+ everywhere with 60 running and defense and his arm is a 70… 70!!! That is elite. Not for a prospect, that's just flat out elite. If he started on opening day, he probably has a top 5 arm for a shortstop. He obviously won't, he's just 18, which means he will be getting even stronger. I can't wait to see him in 2-3 years.
The problem with subscription boxes is that the sellers can weigh the packs, especially the finest and bowman and know where the hits are. They can keep the hits and put the hitless packs in the subscription boxes. I'm not saying Penn does this, but buying lose packs online is always sketchy IMO
Good job on the pack selection.
My favorite card was the Keith Hernandez because of Seinfeld, but the best card was fo-sho the Wander. Why are people in the hobby so down on him, he didn't finish as well as he started, but most don't after an injury in the same season, unless you're name is Ja'marr Chase. Watch him go off to a fiery start and his stuff goes back up to next year's prices while Jabroni-Rod's suffering from the 2nd year curse that plagues many hitters. Just saying.
Wander had a quad injury and then a wrist injury, which are vital for optimal hitting, however, he came back and finished the season in Sept hitting over .300 and a .786 OBS. He'll be fine, he's in his 20's and he's just getting fired up.
Speaking of injuries, I'm glad that Jizz Chasm is getting a video game cover, he's a very popular and crossover hit with the younger sports fans. People are tuning in because of his charisma and he's a genuine type of guy that doesn't come off as a D**k like Bryce Harper or J-D-Bag-Rod. That guy seems a cocky ass and I am not a fan yet of the Seattle slugger.
