Hi, guys. Nice to see you again! Not walk with dogs are simple problem. Why she disagree?
Walking just the one dog for a minimum of 45 minutes, and then still needing to take the other two out as well each day. Hummm, just using my own work schedule as an example, I’m out of the house at 6:30am and typically get back around 7:00 pm. There’s dinner when you get home …. Oops Nope, no time for that. Gotta walk the dogs. There’s spending time and caring for your child, prepping food for and feeding her, bath time/getting ready for bed and then a snuggle and a story before she sleeps … nope no time for that either. So unless that two year old is going to bed at 9:00 or 10:00 at night, that means Mom is the sole care giver. Then I have to shower and unwind early enough so that I can get to sleep at a decent time, because again, I’m out of the house by 6:30 the next morning. So yeah. If I’m this man’s wife, I’d be pissed. Because now not only is he gone all day at work and therefore unable to help with our child or any cooking / household chores, but these three dogs he’s brought into our life are taking up any remaining time he’s got, AND adding extra cleaning chores to my plate. Hard pass.
I have been REALLY wanting a dog for close to three years now. As a responsible adult who lives with other family members, based on my life right now, I know I have to wait until a few things change. It’s not great. But you gotta do what you gotta do.
This husband needed to grow up. I hope he did (this episode was filmed a few years ago). I’d be curious for a follow up on this and some of her other families that have been shown.
