Can the Steam Deck Handle Elden Ring?

The most hyped game for the Deck is here, and we’re going to try Elden Ring out LIVE. We’ll be testing the latest handheld from Valve in Linux with Proton and in Windows. I’ll be using my overclocked Hackendeck, which has been PROVEN to work just as well as the Steam Deck. If you want the 10 minute version, skip to 2:30:00

We’ll be doing performance analysis across the quality settings, FSR settings, and of course, talking about its Steam Deck Verified status!

  1. Nice work 👌
    Very playable on steam Deck
I’m a Single player game man, so steam deck will do me, although I’ve a DIY Portable 5700u I already have, where I’ve been swapping SSD’s for Win/Manjaro, (Manjaro is a bit crap for touchscreens, or maybe I just can’t configure it properly for them)

  2. I'm not confident that Steam Deck will play new AAA games for very long. Soon enough a Series S equivalent will be the bare minimum to play those. Will the Steam Deck be able to play Starfield? It will probably "run", but I doubt it will be a good experience.
