Great freakin video! My god the Steam Deck is a goddamn beast.. I love this thing! Literally.. I'm running Watch Dogs 2. Dead Space Remake and Resident Evil 2 Remake. The games look amazing.. I also, made videos on why I love the Steam Deck especially in 2023.. The way it's going. consoles might be going obsolete very soon all because of these beastly handhelds.

About World at War's gamepad support, it does have Xbox/XInput support but you have to open the Developer Console with the tilde ` key (make sure it's enabled in Settings) and type in "exec default_controller" without quotation marks. Still need a mouse to navigate menus but the rest of the game controls great on Deck. It even allows you to use Keyboard & Mouse inputs simultaneously, so you can configure Steam Input to allow for Gyro aiming while still using the standard Xbox joystick which feels amazing.

i set up dual booting with windows for genshin impact, but i found out black ops 2 with plutonium works flawlessly on windows. you can definitely play bo2 on the steam deck without any nonsense, just dual boot!!!
But who really wants to Plat Vanguard Zombies? That's dogshit man I thought we were pretending it didn't exist?
My deck is on the way… Will i only be able to play zombies if i get windows ? I don't have a pc so might not be able to do it.
I recently got my steam deck and am loving playing zombies and undisputed on it but some maps I want to play like Frigid don’t work, the screen turns green with lines and crashes, is there any way I can fix this? This isn’t only on this map but on others too.

Tip: play offline on bo3 when playing zombies the game runs better like that

hello I know im late to the party but please do not do duel boot its not worth your grub bootloader breaking because a windows update came out that deleted the grub menu grub recovery is hell and not worth it as someone who has duel booted also steamos is arch based system which means rolling release and keep your steam deck up to date or steam os will get corrupted
Kinda wondering if this can run some of the higher quality custom maps like Atonement or Call of the Dead Remastered.
Been using my deck as my zombies machine for months. Anytime I have time to kill or bored, I load up some bo3 or world at war on it and can just have a blast with all the custom content for both games. The sleep mode on deck kicks ass for saving high round runs for later.
Also I would HIGHLY recommend learning how to use gyro controls for this. I use gyro assisted aim and have it set up to only activate when I hold down the left trigger and act as a support to the regular right stick aiming. My controls are all set to controller binds but my right stick is set as the mouse. I'm finally able to consistently hit headshots and I don't have aim assist forced upon me in bo3 when using this set-up and world at war isn't too difficult anymore because I can land my headshots easily and survive verruckt runners in harder maps.🤘🏻🤘🏻
how does Black Ops 3 run in splitscreen on the steam deck? (yes Black Ops 3 has splitscreen on PC)

Anyone else having this problem in Black Ops 3 where you can't press the button on the switch board when trying to upgrade the lightning staff? Is it a button layout issue?? Or game issue? Because you can still pick up the tablet at gen 2 and that is the same way you don't need a prompt x button to interact

You totally can, I use my deck for bo3 all the time. Just a bit of laggy menus but I get 60+ frames consistently just as long as your connected to a power source.
Once you use keyboard or a controller. World at war runs perfectly. Including console commands. Trying custom maps now that's how I came across this video.
Question how do i download call of duties ?
