For future reference if you use cotton athletic tape and coat it in superglue it makes like a hard cast. Like wrap a coat hanger around the break and then wrap it in athletic tape and coat the hell out of it superglue. That bat will never come apart.
you should try a big time combo. super glue (wood glue is too strong that the rest of the bat will break easier), and actually do a good job with it, then melt some pinetar around that, then flex seal it all the way around the handle for style and a bit extra protection

This is actually good to know, most people don’t realize how often a player would tape a wooden bat together that they only use in the cage or whatever because they don’t want to buy a new one, but at least we know what’s the best to use now

Next time you break a bat fix it with super glue, then add wood glue to it, the wrap it in duct tape and test it out
