Can Everybody Please Stop Dying | Episode 40 | Cities Skylines 2 | San Bradifax

Hello and welcome to back Cities Skylines 2!

We’re back in San Bradifax today where we’re going to be working on the industrial area (well sort of). There’s a heck of a lot of traffic particularly around the docks area, probably due to me increasing the efficiency of the motorway.

Another dock is probably a good idea, splitting the cargo routes between the two. This will make it much more efficient. For some reason later on in the video everybody seems to be dying which is a bit of an annoyance. We’ll try and work on it to improve citizen health.

  1. The dead waves and many other things are the effect of economy 2.0 that just released last week. You should read the 11 pages of changelog to understand what is happening and how to adapt with the new mechanics

  2. You should build an overhead motorway like the M5/M6 in Birmingham directly above the two main roads into the industrial zone, following the same paths, ie the main road near the metro line and that main road which you added the extra junction from the housing estate to. Two separate overhead motorways would give them options so they don’t crowd up a single motorway. Also perhaps add another short metro branch into that housing estate with atleast 2 stations close together for maximum coverage. Give the Pax options and gets them off the roads. Maybe even have cross city lines terminating there, and frequent shuttle serves that go from a terminus built in the housing estate to the main railway station in town, running as “fast” services.
