All my sisters and mom wanted to do a girls trip but we're all retired and to go there from Arizona is just beyond affordable. I worked at WDW many years ago and loved it. But today Disney seems to be catering to upper upper middle class and higher. We priced a trip and it was Not $10k for 4. So if we plan a trip we'll look I to your website. I'm still bummed that Disney is like corporate America….its ALL about the millions in profit!
I really beleive that Disney World would just be too expensive in total if we weren't as local as we are. I can't imagine tacking on park tickets and flights to our trips too 😅

Ya, I live in FL and with all that I still can’t afford most of these tickets. I’ve driven 8hrs roundtrip just not to pay for a hotel, and I still spend hundreds at the park and with ticket
To think that staying in a moderate is $400 per night – is LAUGHABLE.
We’ve stayed over the years for marathon weekend, but back when prices were sane. Disney can keep their overpriced offerings. I’m not dumb enough to fall for it now.
I've been to Disney world every year since 2015 and my last stay at avanti international resort on international drive for 6 nights was $400 Sept 12-17 2022
Use your cc for rewards! Hotel or use kickbacks for gift cards for air or dining. My usaa i can get rainforest Cafe and trex! If getting airfare, fine your preferred airline and watch it like a hawk. I recently saved over 170pp from bos to mco with great travel times. Also jet blue vacations can bundle air with disney hotels to cut costs. Definately food delivery to hotel for snacks and quick breakfast.
If you’re military make sure you buy through the ITT on base.
Our trip this Nov/Dec just for tickets is $3,467!
I think universal is way more than disney. I just left universal and spent way more for one day 2 park ticket and 1 park express pass than I spent for dis plus I literally emptied my wallet of my allotment of cash for the day. I have been to Disney the last 2 days prior and came back with cash both times.
Grew up visiting, but the price gouging just puts me off now. You can stay in luxury in the Victoria Falls national park, surrounded by wildlife, for considerably less than it costs you to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge with a car park view.
I don't like the new remodel of the All Stars which is where I would usually stay. Practically $200 for a room at one is crazy and way too expensive.
My husband and I are planning our first (and only) trip to WDW.
DFB has been so amazingly helpful with that.
It's just the 2 of us, no kids. We've both always wanted to go.
So we literally cracked out a spreadsheet, decided to go all in with our must-haves for the trip.
We have a plan, and are saving.
$8000 for 2 people for 6 nights all totaled, including lightsabers at HS, flights, 3 nights in a savannah view room at AK and 3 nights in Caribbean beach.
It's once in a lifetime for us. For the cost, we could take 2 trips to tropical Caribbean islands for a week each.
We are taking a 2 week European cruise next year for less than the cost of a week in Disney.
Buuuut, we are just saving and saving and eagerly awaiting our time to book our stays. For a one time trip, we are willing.
I don't believe in spending that kind of $ to go to the same place over and over when you can see other places. I do not understand how several people I know go to Disney and spend $10000+ for their families year after year.
I spend approximately zero time in my hotel room. 😂 It’s a place to sleep and shower before I head out for the day. The only “amenity” I spend money on is proximity to my destination.
where do I find your video on the cheapest places to eat at Disney. I am taking all my family, 9 of us. Would like a break now and again on cost!!
How are the parks so busy if these prices are sky high ? Where is the breaking point ?
We are heading to DisneyWorld in 31 days from Canada and I appreciate your videos so much. I feel informed and organized but not overwhelmed. Thank you. BUT this trip is costing us a fortune. I’m trying not to get anxious about it. There are ways to save. We used reward miles for our condo (condos off property but very close by save tons as well), were gifted points for our flights (thanks grandma)! But with resort tickets for Disney and universal, car rental, parking, food, and other activities and extras it’s overwhelming how expensive it has gotten. We are saving and won’t regret the trip I am sure but it has certainly inflated way more than I anticipated since the last time we planned a similar trip. Plus the terrible USD from CAD exchange 🤯.
I'm really grateful for this channel. I went on my 1st and 2nd Disney trip taking all the advice on how to save/spend wisely with me on that trip. Hearing the latest news on Disney's prices is very depressing, but at least I know what's going on. And who knows what is in store for the future.
We always recommend to people who say they like to "prepay" for food with the dining plan: put the same amount on Disney gift cards. You can add money slowly over time (just like a regular vacation payment plan) and if you have extra money, you can spend it on souvenirs or just roll over to your next vacation
I can't imagine why anyone would pay the rack rates for some of these hotels. Unless you are in Epcot or MK area where you can literally walk to the park there are few reasons to stay "on property". You can rent a condo with full kitchen and 2 full bedrooms for like $1500 a *week*. A deluxe 2 BR would cost you close to $1500 a night.
It is expensive, but its still magic. Not worth it, but it's beautiful. We're actually going in December, and last time I went I was terrified of SPACE MOUNTAIN. I realized how slow it was, and now I agreed to go on anything.

the price for someone out of state to stay onsite at Disney is now becoming so expensive! to do a holiday that cost 6k a few years ago will now cost 10k+ and that's not including food
Had a sit down, average to below average, buffet LUNCH yesterday for a family of 5 (3 kids). Spent $400 BEFORE currency conversion. Absolutely ludicrous.
When the clock struck midnight on March 15th, 2020, the magic vanished and the coach changed back into a pumpkin.

My daughter just had a life changing medical diagnosis. She has been asking to go to Disney. With the prices as they are now this trip is out of our budget. Disney is breaking my heart.
