Can An AI Beat RE5 Without Help? Sheva is your AI partner in Resident Evil 5. My opinion is she also happens to be a pretty horrible teammate. So can she beat the game without my assistance? Or will I have to help her along every now and then? Let’s find out.

  1. Sheva's AI isn't actually that bad. You just gotta know how to wing it. She works best in cover mode with only occasionally using assault but you can't rely on her alone. she also always completes Q2Es so thats nice.

  2. Love that the Resident Evil 5 community is still active. Interesting video idea and liked the editing as well ❤.

Edit: Just finished watching this and laughed the entire time 😂🤍.

  3. I personally love RE 5.
Funny thing I find is they gave the options to turn QTE but didn't update the awful AI?
Seriously imagine if you didn't have to worry about her🤯

  4. I'm sure those razors would break if Chris tried to shave the hair off of his teeth. No man that punches boulders and wins can NOT be covered in hair of steel from head to toes.

  5. I hate how you just put Sheva in the thumbnail as the "default" AI not realizing some people prefer to play with a female character.

Very offensive and I wish I could've reported it to have it remove but the best I could do is dislike and leave

  6. In professional the biggest problem is Sheva, the moment i decided to play solo with the AI i knew that the game was designed to play with friends as a forced cooperation game, because my god, nothing is harder in resident evil 5 than babysitting Sheva or Chris when controlled by AI

  7. It’s not Sheva it’s AI in general.

It’s funny when people ask why Sheva hasn’t returned to Resident Evil like they forgot that she’s African branch.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jill is still helping the BSAA in Africa.

  8. This challenge could be easier in professional because enemies only focus the player.
Also, the RE5 AI is really good if you know how to use it. Mantain it in cover if you want to conserve ammo, and a real game changer is giving it a SMG/Rifle combo, then the AI uses SMG on weaker enemies at close distance and shoot powerful rifle rounds at long distance or big HP enemies. The AI just aims to the chest, so the Rifle is really the best weapon to give to it. If you give it a Handgun it will use it always when in cover mode. Attack mode make it more agressive and use all weapons freely depending on the situation. Also, don't spam cover or attack commands, that just resets the "priorities" and the AI routine, so it will stand still.
Healing is the only thing that you can't control directly. The AI uses the most powerful healing item when you have less than 33% HP. And logically it does not have means to anticipate a red herbs or a possible combination, that's a limitation that have sense, because if the AI "knows" the healing items that will come in advance, it will give an advantage. Last point, this aproach to healing is better in veteran and professional difficulties, because you die in 2-3 hits (1 on professional), so saving healing items is not really much difference because full HP or even half HP is the same when you will die with one more hit anyways. The real objective is staying out of orange HP.
I learned all of this thanks to the official manual/guidebook and just experience S ranking all missions of the game in all difficulties, and when you learn how to use the AI, RE5 is really an enjoyable game on higher difficulties and you will see that's very well balanced towards having a partner.

  10. this is my favorite resident evil. spent so many hours in coop on the campaign and mercenaries. I hope they remake this like they're doing with all the remake releases. that would be amazing. I can't wait (crosses fingers)
