  1. Terracotta Sentinel beat a lot of things, including anti-large like Bloodthirsters one on one. I doubt putting the sphynxes at a disadvantage would help them… What about when they're of equal number?

  2. Issue is a lot of units have WS values that made sense for large size health pools not ultra. The effective result is most SE's were given a 33% WS nerf. The sentinel having 600 WS, a reasonable value for cheap SEM duelist with unbreakable and high armor in game 3, causes it to massively overperform into a lot of the monsters which haven't been updated yet. One of the only exceptions is Giants, and they went from solid because they were cheap to world beaters in game 3.

    As for why most SE's released in game 3 on launch feel so bad, and why the new DLC monsters have higher WS and lower prices, it's because CA's trying to fix the issue with new releases but can't be bothered to go back and update all of the old monsters who have fallen behind.
