  1. Being agressive is the best strategy in most total wars. Overextension is an acceptable consecuence with subsequent losses of territory, if big threats are eliminated early. Sometimes allowing certain enemies to thrive can lead to extremely long stalemates that last longer than exposing your lands a few turns and retaking some settlements.
    Sometimes I play coop with friends I wish we would exploit better our early game advantages because mid game is always a shitfest with too many clutch battles that could be avoided with crazy expansion early game.
    Tbh CA should remove background/family income. That would make holding territory way more important. if you can fund near, if not an entire stack with " out of thin air" money might as well just burn the enntire world with that single stat with no land to your name except the ones you ocupy to replenish.

  2. Recommend the "pending action destroyer for multiplayer" mod, you can at least manage settlements while others do their battles

    Its save game compatible too so you can just add/remove it to ongpoing campaigns whenever u want
