  1. I was going to suggest that The Endless not appear immediately at Earth given it took 5 days for the Forerunner Keyship to get to Earth from Installation 05, but then I remembered Cortana realising that the Covenant never fully understood the full potential of the technology they assimilated and may not have been travelling at the full possible speed.

  2. The recent release of banished themed Spartan armor just rubs more salt in this open wound. Spartans fighting for the banished could have been a great plot point for DLC. 😢 I try to be understanding and not bash on 343 as hard as some other people do, but I won't deny that I am disappointed as a fan.

  3. What do you think their plan for Atriox was. By that, what are his actual goals for The Banished and his people once they have the ring. Not sure it's what 343 has planned, but for me his goals are to make sure his brothers and people never kneel to anyone every again as they did with the Prophets.

  4. Look.. there’s been no flood involvement since Halo 3, the Arbiter hasn’t been a main protagonist since Halo 2, we’ve never experienced a Brute protagonist, & regardless of whatever the future brings us.. these are the only things I hope ever get addressed.

  5. Like.. the floods final test for humanity is having their spartan warriors fall to the infection & turned against them.
Mendicant Bias &/or the Didact prevent the flood from finding its highest priority target.. the master chief.. by sealing him away & constantly retreating from installation to installation as the weapon fires them all before they’re completely overrun by the flood.
Chief’s only goal is to protect the weapon, & so he agrees to be locked down completely to avoid the risk of infection whilst the weapon is still able to operate forunner tech remotely within a certain distance away from his suit.
The Arbiter & the swords of sanghelios as well as the Banished join together to protect what little is left of the human race.. realizing that humanity must be protected as they hold the mantle & are the only species capable of operating the forunner technology built to combat such an overwhelming flood outbreak.. as well as being the gatekeepers to each shield world.. allowing any/all other species the ability to survive the firing of the rings.
The Ark being the start of the outbreak (halo wars 2) is completely consumed & destroyed, making the importance of firing the rings even greater because they can no longer be produced/replaced .
It is discovered that the lesser arks/greater arks come together to form shield worlds.
These Shield worlds offer the only salvation for all sentient life to survive the firing of the rings.
The Arbiter uses every ship under his command (given they are the fastest ships in the galaxy) as transports to rescue & evacuate hundreds of different planets to the safety of these shield worlds.

..as the banished take full responsibility for the floods release, they task themselves with all the main offensive & defensive operations against the flood, including their famed Spartan killer strike teams actively hunting every last infected Spartan by tracking their I.D transponders often taking them deep into completely flood consumed parts of the galaxy where they must then deploy a special A.I capable of enabling the Spartan’s suit self-destruction protocol.

  6. Jumping into this with part 4, I have a hard time believing that Atriox, or any Brute would ally with humanity, given that they've had opportunities to do so in Halo 2, with Tartarus, between Atriox and Captain Cutter on the Ark, and between Escharum and the Infinity and Cortana on Zeta Halo. The only time I distinctly remember that Brutes weren't all stupid, power-hungry, prey-seeking, blood-sport loving carnivores was with Maccabeus in Contact Harvest. The entire franchise seems to have forgotten that the Brutes specifically were brought in to be the cartoonishly evil henchmen, to contrast with the more intelligent, honour-bound, and cautious Elites. Other than that, I have to say, humanity NEEDS a breather from attacks on Earth to repopulate–perhaps as much as a century.

  7. My wish: Halo 7 opens up with Chief waking up from Cyro sleep while being greeted by Cortana. We start with events right after Halo 3. Halo 4 – infinite was just a horrible nightmare that Cortana simulated in Chief's dream to augment his training.
