  1. We get closed with TB on a regular basis now and as a dairy Holstein herd, the Holstein calves bull or heifer are incredible growers. They leave the beef calves behind. The Holstein bull calves are by far a better calf than the jersey cross. Wouldn’t have anything jersey about the place.

  2. The weather this year is a big help too with keeping calves healthy. Forcing the Dairy farmers to keep the calves for a month ensures they have to be on top of colostrum feeding.
