The in-game start date for the episode was the 4th of Fessuran in the year 843. Sam’s gas can says “BEHOLD! THE WRATH OF THE WEREBASS!” and the fish has a speech bubble saying “AWOOOOO! GLUB GLUB"

This week, some people have expressed regret that we no longer get the “Laura Bailey sneaking out of the Game Awards” episodes (C1E34 and C2E88), where Laura comes in an hour late in a dress and full hair and makeup. I can sympathize, but I really do like the pre-taped episodes, I think they are easier on crew and everyone. As a compromise, I propose that they should have an annual “Formal Wear Episode” where everyone dresses as though they were going to win an award, but they just play DnD.

Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?

  3. Rules stuff : the idea that you cast only one spell per turn, which I use to think was the rule, actually has many exceptions confirmed by the game designers. So it is confusing and hopefully the new revision (called OneD&D) will clarify those things.

  4. After years and frequent rewatches I'd love for the cast to consider some character suggestions. Just because I'd love to see how they play them out.
Taliesin: Dark Elf fighter Echo Knight but from the underdark. From an evil past but choosing goodness. A calm and cool veteran with so much depth you get lost and mesmerized in their stories and their steely stare.
Sam: a Winged kobold Warlock runeblade which changes its design with their mood. With a amenable relationship with their patron no desire to break the pact. A disconcerting mix of mischievous kobold yet deeply insightfulness and perceptiveness that belies the whimsy.
Liam: Changling Horizon Walker Ranger. A dungeoneering master with shape shifting, a mix of Vax and Orim. And with the changling a magnificent stage for Liam to play with accents and mannerisms. That would be stunning.
Ashley: a kender (yes i said kender) bard a fun loving fearless adventure addicted inspiration that gets the party in to trouble just slightly less often than she saves them from trouble.
Marissa: a Goliath Oathbreaker Paladin. Strong, powerful, unbreakable, unwavering and unencumbered by tenents or traditions.
Laura: Fairy Fighter Eldrich Knight. A mysterious and mischievous creature whos combination of martial skill and magical prowess are often deadly to those that misjudge them by their shape and nature.
Travis: Platinum Winged Dragonborne War Domain cleric. With a flail but (like a cool flail. Like Simon Belmont would love this Flail) and a massive kite shield a stalwart bulwark of patience and determination that sometimes keeps the chaos the others might bring at a minimum just with a stern glance or a low rumble of wisdom.

  5. I’ve been commenting too much lately, but this is true love right here:

Travis, in character, being a goofball about oral hygiene and Laura just with the biggest grin, laughing herself silly. I know he’s got the whole cast, but the look of genuine love on her face in that moment. What I would give to have an SO look at me that way!

  6. I like how Marisha just went with the wrong name for a second before realizing Travis got it wrong. And Travis was definitely high this episode lol, he is in my top 3 for the cast. For sure on the MVPs, and probably THE MVP this campaign.
