Call of Duty Zombies took gaming BY STORM in 2008, and for years only continued to get bigger and bigger… This is how such a masterpiece of a horde mode was created, and why one single side mode became a gaming phenomenon!
You should have just played the whole ending credit scene. That gives me chills every time and is dark in its own way
I had no idea those songs were made for zombies
awesome
Blow Me Away, Reclaimer, and Follow all should be music easter eggs in Halo Infinite's campaign
ohh baby. I remember starting a game on Kino and being absolutely terrified, reaching round 5 made me so proud of myself, but then dying by the dogs, the laughs on the Game Over scene just made me more interested. I became a huge fan , my first round 30 map being Kino der Toten, and 4 months later i finally reached round 40 on origins ( and after, it's EE ). I hope that we'll get another waw- bo1 like cod zombies. My next goal is round 40 on MOTD, absolutely loved it. That bright alley on bo1, getting the thundergun, getting the blundergat and upgrading all the staffs, getting crashed by the robots on origins, getting absolutelly annihilated by the Panzer 🙂 oh yeah, BO4 felts useless and so vague, CW felt sooo low stakes for me, I just hope a new Reboot for the franchise, just that.
Just an idea. It looks like your a huge fan of old school zombies. But you haven’t gave the newer games some
Appreciation.
A video where you colab with some of the more new age fans like lex or Milo and see what made what many fans consider the golden age of zombies like bo3.
The YouTube channel defend the house is doing something kind of like what I said and honestly I think if you can go threw the maps and experience everything they have to offer could give you a new look at how the game changed to where it brought in a new era of fans and where it lost some of the fandom.
Just a fun idea and would love to see a video like this. Keep up the good content!
I think another thing that just added to the zombie's experience is just how iconic the four main characters were. Even now I still quote my boy Tank Dempsey ooh raw.
Early Cod Zombies lore and early Fnaf lore is the same
Love to see HiddenXperia having an understanding of the design of the game and spreading the word to why the game is good. I think he hit the nail on the head, environmental storytelling is an insanely powerful tool and IMO among AAA games it's actually a bit of a forgotten craft nowadays. But when used correctly it can create absolutely unforgettable experiences and give the agency to the players.
19:43 ayo….WTF is Grass?
in the section for music you should have definetly mentioned ''the one'' as it's straight up through the perspective of a zombie, and for a long time the only song that i thought had lore singificance
what i like about WaW in perticular is the dicotomy betwen its three modes. Near the end of the largest and dedliest conflict humanity has ever seen:
In the ruins of Berlin a team of red army soldiers carefully move through heavily defended buildings with death waiting at every corner, an empire in it's last days. The dark sky sharply contrasts with lightning, catuska rockets and AA fire.
In a castle somewhere in Okinowa team of imperial japanees soldiers desperatly try to defend one of their last stronholds, determinded to die for the emperor. Artilery shells move through the sky before expoding, and attack dogs devour anyone who lets their guard down
In an abandonded facility somewhere in Germany a team of test subsects and a crazy doctor try to survive, not against the enemy, but something much worst , while discovering secrets that where never meant to be unearthed
(this might just come of as cringe, but you get my point
It's pronounced "pawpawshaw"

Richtofen experimented on the rest of the crew at the siberian facility in Call of the Dead. They just went to Shi no numa cause Richtofen had his diary there, so that way he could form a better plan to stop Samantha.
I absolutely love that you touched on the music elena absolutely kills it and i keep her stuff in my regular Playlist
Ill never forget the feeling of beating waw
And hearing some weird infected sounding scream somewhere out in the fog
Very few things in life sound more satisfying than mowing down zombies with a pack a punch'd PPSH on der riese
WaW-BO2 lore remains undefeated. I cannot put into words how perfect it was. You just had to be there, literally.
9:58–10:07 gets it right. The storytelling being intertwined with real life conspiracy theories just were insanely cool and intriguing. I have learned so much from my own research during those times because of zombies. The ciphers, links, and research were all incredible. Hopefully they can recapture even a fracture of that energy, even with data mining nowadays.
Have you watched Halo animation by sodaz you’ll love it
I love this video and COD zombies.
This was an awesome video man. So much nostalgia and so many great memories came to my mind because of this video. Thanks for reminding me of those good times!
