  25. Newsom's NUMBER ONE priority, as governor, is to ensure the safety and security of the residents of CA. The fires in CA have been an issue for decades. Dry winds, drought, acres upon acres of wooded areas full of brush and dead trees… The fact that Newsom took a cavalier approach to the potential for fires is criminal! He was warned by the President years ago. And this is NOT about climate!!! This is all about a governor ensuring that existing emergency facilities are available, and having adequate resources to protect the people and their homes. A common sense methodology. Not cutting back on resources and facilities!!! I'm sorry, CA… Your fearless leader is CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT!
