Quick tour of my California Native garden in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in Coarsegold California- taking a look at plants that went in in 2021 and 2022 in June 2023 which makes them 2-3 years old.
This month’s highlights: just planted a new rose sage, hummingbird sage, and brandegeei sage (against common wisdom – it’s pretty late for planting) and some critter immediately but off the stalk of my new rose sage. Winifred Gilman sage in full bloom, Sierra Monkeyflower just about done blooming, Celestial Blue sage in bloom, desert mallow in bloom, and a narrow leaf milkweed just popping up to say hi.
