I got Nilou, Nahida and Baizhu in 3.6. I had just finished the main archon quests and had to do all the world quests. Nilou bloom was my staple team until the Furina/Neuvilette core in 4.2.
It looks stupid but trust me it works.
You can pair Nilou with Arlechino, Nilou ring can apply enough hydro for Arlechino to vape her normal attack (since Arlechono NA follows normal ICD)
But you need to hug the enemy for Nilou's skill to "hit" the enemy
It is a trick from the Genshin tournament when all the hydro applicators get banned or picked already
I hope one day they let us use presets for artifacts so I can build 2-3 diff builds for xq / yelan / baizhu / raiden / etc to fast swap between play styles and teams with those characters. It’s painful that if I want to use XQ in national i have to swap for pure damage stats and if I want him for blood I have to swap to EM stats and then if I consider him being solo hydro applicator for pyro cores… then I need him er setup. Similiar for baizhu with millelith Dendro set healing set for different scenarios

Also guys if you have key and want to high invest your Nilou 4 piece flower of paradise is actually better. With double hydro I have over 70k HP and with the abyss buff I max my bloom buff. I'm using Kokomi-Nahida-Collei team and my bloom triggered by Nilou hit 35k. It's actually quite qood even in single target thanks to Nahida also how team focused on bloom generation.

Heyo! Fellow Nilou enjoyer here! First of all I want to say thank you for this very comprehensive video! I have a very specific question regarding artifacts. My Nilou team is Nahida, Nilou, Xingqiu, and Baizhu (or Yao Yao if i need to run baizhu on my Furina team in the abyss). Currently, my Xingqiu is running Emblem of Severed Fate, but I was wondering if it would be a significant upgrade if I swapped him to Paradise Lost with ER sands and EM goblet and circlet? Seeing as how he is my main hydro driver, on paper this sounds a lot nicer with the artifact set provides. I've tried searching it up on reddit, but not many people have talked about this. Thanks! :]

Well, this means the algorithm wants me to build Nilou 🤷♀ I got incredibly lucky and pulled her at very low pity and C1 in two consecutive wishes, but never really used her. Now I'm trying to build a team with Alhaitham and Nilou, but I can't really decide on the rest. Will try your suggestions!
Small note, to get the max 400% bonus damage from her A4 passive, you need to push to 75,000 hp.
While maths says 74,444 is all you need, the last 9% wont be calculated unless you break the 1,000 hp requirement. Hence, 75,000 needed for maximum benefits.
Tho 391% boost is already massive enough…

I don't know why I'm even watching it. I guess it's just to watch more Nilou content. I already have her triple crowned for ages and her HP is at 69k.
My main team for her is; Nahihi, Nilou, Kokomi, and Kirara. All of them triple crowned, and kokomi is built with EM as a hydro applier whereas Kirara shields the team so I don't need to build HP on Kokomi. My Nahida is also C2, and in a few days my Nilou will also be C2 (all f2p btw)

I love her design and gameplay, but I still hate her as a gacha character since from the start. The fact that her teambuilding is locked and she is useless if you have an element other than Dendro/Hydro is extremely bad design and I was really worried that devs would go this restrictive route from now on instead of doing something innovative. Developers of this game loves to shoot themselves in the foot with extremely bad decisions so I wouldnt be surprised. Thankfully it didnt happen but I still do not like the restrictions on a 5* character like this.
My Nilou with 69k hp reminded me why I skipped kazowa for Eula and Shenhe it never hurt to enjoy the game with some unique characters rather than copy paste your meta teams from others, also I just checked the update and happy kaveh is finally released from their dark cold basement.

in tripple hydro hydro is still the trigger especially with nahida with baizhu/alhaitem it becomes more mixed if your using xq or yelan and reverts back to mostly being from the hydros when you use furina

As someone who's been maining Kokomi (C6R3 now) since her first banner, I've kinda been wanting to pull for Nilou for a nasty Bloom team.
I passed on her first banner and kept telling myself "Next re-run. Next re-run." SO…I think it's finally time(mostly because no Wrio return this patch lol)
He default skin looks way better than the new skin
I pull characters simply based on if i find them attractive or not lol i dont care about "(insert character) is BADDD". I was pleasantly surprised and proud to find out Kazuha, Kokomi and Nilou turned out to be one of the strongest when i actually played them! I even pulled for their weapon back then. All these three hard carry me through abyss! Nilou is meta as hell.

If im doing 2 Dendro (Nahida and Dendro MC or kirara) do i need the other dendro MC to be full EM too?
Or is Nahida just that strong
