Buying an “EASY FIX” Porsche 987 Boxster From Salvage Auction! (FULL OF ISSUES)

We bought another cheap Porsche 987 Boxster from Copart salvage auction! This Porsche rebuild was supposed to be quick and easy, but it was NOT that. This car somehow had collision damage, flood damage, and mechanical damage? It challenged us every step of the way, but we persevered and got it fixed! Is this the best sports car under $10k? This is our 8th cheap Porsche Boxster purchase and won’t be our last.

  1. We have 2 Lamborghinis to reveal, and we have 2 more cheap Porsches to reveal… Which do you want?? 🤔

Hope y’all liked this one! This Boxster really fought us the whole time, but I’m happy we were able to save another one🙏🏼

  2. Like this 987 but I noticed you aren't leveling the car for the oil swap. This leaves quite a bit of the old oil in the car as you are tipping it forward and the drain plug is in the back of the pan. Small, but not so small as you also leave the crud I the pan that should be drained out every change. End of rant.

  3. Love happy endings. I am so wanting a Boxster or Cayman, But I'm disabled with no disposable income to speak of. I will be in a position to spend $10,000 around the end of May. So I've been familiarizing myself with Copart, Auto Tempest, and others so I know where to get the most bang for my buck. And yes, JR Boxster Is a great rebrand.

  4. Great video guys! I went through the same thing with my new to me 2000 986. Question, you said this car has a rebuilt title? Did you mean a salvaged title? Or is it actually a rebuilf title. Shoot i forgot you are in Arizona! I'm in Cali!
