Iβve been looking for a 2nd hand mini excavator for few years, to maintain my forest tracks. They all seem to be over priced or worn out, so I decided to buy this new heavily discounted last years model TB217R from Central Group NZ β https://bit.ly/CGCE Its a great little machine.

Hey Marty Iβm a plant fitter in the uk have worked on most brands of machines big and small and I can hands down say that Takeuchi is the best mini ex on the market to my knowledge the build quality is unmatched and part prices are reasonable all the operators seem to much prefur them to other machine brands too. When you get 5 minutes take all the small screws out from the dash panels and controll lever grips and grease them as they can be a pain to get out 5 years down the line on the canopy models and keep the shaft that all the controll linkages work though under the floor clean and well lubed as the small bearings on the end can seize and give you sticky pedals after a few years also change the final drive oils every 500h not every 1000 especially of your doing a lot of tracking but there an amazing machine I will be very surprised if you ever need the warranty but like you say itβs nice to have happy digging !
The thing I find the most hilarious/intriguing is watching your equipment, vs your utes on the tracks…
I would question taking my F-350 single rear up these trails…
A huge part of why I watch!
Glad youtube and life.are treating you this well!, but I prefer "pre emissions" everything personally.
I thought you would bring old one back to life from the bush
Hahaha Marty, I thought you bought your son his first excavator! I'm not gonna lie, you caught me offguard when I read the video title that you bought a new mini excavator. I didn't think you bought anything new π
Nice mini, Marty. You don't have to work on it yet! haha
Maineikas kaivinkoneππ€
Nice one! Thanks.
as much as i like the old machines, all the extra features of the modern machine really does speed up the work.
i think i recognize at least three discreet machines this new one is doing the work of, all without you getting out of the seat.
What? A machine that is newer than 75 years old? I am shocked!
Even Marty can't hide that YouTube money $$$
So fancy and new and precise with a grading bucket to boot my oh my what will you do sir
Ok spit it out Marty what did Mrs Marty say an what as the gift you gave her?
A well deserved tool.
Outstanding. You deserve a NEW one π
Looks like the NEW machine is doing a fine job on the road bed!! I'm not sure if that's really you… on a NEW MACHINE!!?? LOL!!!
Imagine – Marty T with a brand spanking new machine!! Couldnβt happen to a more deserving man. The love you put into those old machines has come back to you and the machine gods have said βGive that man something new!β Glad to see you have that.
Just recently a buddy asked me why there are so many old backhoes on the market, … selling for half what they used to bring ? And I told him skid-steers and mini-excavators are the new technology, that doesn't require a dump truck and lo-boy trailer to get around.
What a lucky little Takeuchi! It's gonna be used as intended, and maintained so well
Talk to us, ASMR sucks
Nice machine. Love watching.
Now we wait for the video where you put a thumb on it.
Taken to it like a duck to water ! LOL You can temper the speed of tilt by partially closing the taps on the auxiliary fittings on the dipper.
Dude, after all the vehicles you own, you buy a TAKEUCHI!?!?!?!?! Wow, what a nice piece of kit! π
A new excavator doesn't need repairs. But there's plenty of ways to modify it. Congrats on the new purchase.πͺ
Congrats on the new free stuff but I'm here for the old free stuff.
Iβve waited all day to watch this β€
Take that new toy and leave it out in the woods somewhere for about 20 years. Then you can go out and find it and try to start it!
Been seeing a lot of those on job sites here in the States. They appear to work hard, but well.
You deserve a nice machine. Youβve earned it. ππΌ
The sped up bits look like a Harryhausen stop motion effect.
Ya need a thumb on that.
Thatβs why the video is so short. Heβs too busy playing with his new toy! ππ Go have fun!
Brand new equipment I may hit the unsubscribe button I am appalled
NEW!!!! what is going on??
It feels very strange to see a Marty T video with a new piece of equipment in it…
More than deserved Marty, this machine could not have fallen into better hands, I wish you success and may this machine serve you for many, many years.
boo! hiss! old stuff is why we watch! Anybody can just write a check!
Good choice Marty. I have found Takeuchi are easy on operators , very capable and reliable strong workhorses that punch above their weight.
ππ
Excellent video Marty T π also do remember you going keep fingers crossed hope find one to buy in future that was months ago and nice got now too!
It just doesn't seem right π We're all so used to seeing you first have to rebuild the thing, not just turn the key and go. Congrats from South Africa
Get a thumb. Dramatically improves usefulness of any excavator. Have to say I'm gobsmacked to see a new machine. Guess YT is paying off….
I am impressed by the machine & the bloke using it. Well done & I bet you were smiling in yuour sleep after buying a new machine. Cheers from Aus
blasphemy! new equipment?!? Marty if you have been kidnaped blink in next video!
We used this model excavator at the Council works – awesome little machines, especially with the tilt bucket. They do like to throw their tracks once they get a bit worn though.
Happy to see that you are back matey great video thank you again all the best to you all
ya right like new to him right? and not new new?
That tilt feature is great for ditching.
Seems like such a smol machine…yet works away like a champ!π¦Ύπ
Enjoy the newness Marty
