  1. BLUETTI customer service is horrible! They sent me a defective part and wanted me to pay postage to send it back to them. Will never by another anything from them. EcoFlow on the other hand sent me a brand new unit after having issues with their unit after 1 year. No problem. Excellent customer service. No hassle. They back their products! Boo hiss on BLUETTI.

  2. I like your talks about the fur babies. I went to California from Florida and back in 8 days in July. I took my two cats.I had to keep driving just to have the AC on. I have a pet stroller. I put them both in the stroller and waited outside in the shade when I needed to have a new tire installed. I have find a way to take my cockatiels and my cats…I'm thinking keep the birds in the front passenger seat with some sort of barrier between the back and the front with a door. Any thoughts?

  3. Hi, Jan. Loved your talk. Regarding pets, I have two small Havanese dogs under 10 pounds. I also have a pet stroller that I put them in when they get tired of walking. They love it and I am able to go for longer walks with them. I would love to attend your meet up, so will be watching for more info on that. Take care.

  5. Sorry I missed "the live". One question I've been meaning to ask people, especially noobs like me, what to do if you're scared of freeways? 😄

I envy the American nomads because of the good road system, with options. I've driven from here to Seattle using almost exclusively back roads. I could have gone much further if that was our travel plan. I'm in the southwest corner of Canada (Vancouver area) where there is a very limited road system out of this area, on account of the geography (mountains; ocean; national border). The only options are one freeway east and west, and a few smaller highways/roads that go east. After about a 2-hour drive east, as far as I know, it's only 3 "major" highways. It's not till you're *well* out of region that you start to have more local roads. So….I feel trapped!

This road thing only dawned on me recently, and it's got me thinking I should move much, much further east so I can access more comprehensive road systems. Until that time what can one do if one is afraid of busy and/or fast highways….and of course, those dang tailgaters?

  6. Great talk today! I hope you will post your Fl. meetup on YouTube. I am a Floridan and really want to attend but I am not on Facebook. Have you looked into Dupuis —it is a South Fl. Water Maagement area and is totally FREE. Just need to get permit on line.

  7. Excellent live video. I was going to ask Jan what phone she was using but she answered it in video. What does AT&T charge per month? I have T-Mobile and it has been announced they are going to link with Star Link very soon. Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.

  9. Hi Jan I live in Florida and would like to meet up if you have one in November. I just finished getting my minivan ready to go. I’m in Mass. and will be heading back to Florida (Boynton Beach) at the end of Sept. I have had large class B campers but didn’t work out living at a condo so I’m trying a Dodge Grand Caravan. I love to travel so I hope it works for me . Hope to hear about November. Lee

  10. Thanks, Jan and Cindy for all the good info…you two make a great team! Suggestion for keeping your older pets (and you) warm: a heating pad. If you've got a Bluetti (or similar) or are on shore power, I'd think you'd have no problem. I have a Toosey brand (75w) for my senior cat, and Doneco extra large one (180w) for me, and we both LOVE them! They also make 12v heated blankets. Just a thought…
