It was supposed to be a day of joy and celebration, a wedding surrounded by friends and loved ones. But the shock and grief being felt in the Hunter Valley is impossible to fathom. Ten people are dead and dozens more have been injured, one is still critical. Their bus was travelling from the Wandin Valley Estate winery where a young couple had just exchanged their vows to Singleton.
But it only made it to Greta, about half way. The bus driver has been charged after reportedly driving erratically, in thick fog, in the crucial seconds before he lost control.
