"Burned human remains": Police identify body of missing Ontario real estate agent

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween confirmed the that “burned human remains” found in Parry Sound, Ontario on Aug. 12, were identified by the Chief Coroner as those from a missing Ontario woman on Wednesday.

Yuk-Ying Anita Mui, a Markham-based real estate agent, was reported missing by her family on Aug. 9 after they had not heard from her, police said. Her remains were found in Parry Sound three days later by OPP officers.

“We believe Miss Mui was targeted and our homicide unit will continue the investigation until we find the individuals responsible for her death,” MacSween said.

After allegedly using credit cards belonging to the 56-year-old, two 17 year olds and one 16-year-old have been charged with multiple counts of fraud.

“All three young offenders are persons of interest in this homicide investigation,” Dt.-Sgt. Dave Gill of the York Regional Police’s Homicide Unit said, “but their exact involvement as to what they did or what they had to do with this investigation, and with the disappearance of Miss Mui, is being investigated.”

  2. And because they are juveniles they will WALK with NO ACCOUNTABILITY, just like the boy who lives next door, he (18 yrs) and two 17 yrs, this 18 yr old who is known to us for 8yrs, he faught with other's outside our home, threatening other teen's with his weapon's, just as his step father and he use to intimidate neighbors etc., so he claimed he didn't know what was gonna happen, he was only driving, which is a lie,his ego ONLY got bigger in jail and the fact he ONLY did a little more than two years, this 17 yr old they murdered was a boy they BULLIED, they went to this boys' home and 12 shot's rung out and they murdered him on the front step's of his home, if this murderer was only driving why does he have a life time ban on weapons, because his mother got rid of his gun and parents had the money to pay his way out, they have NO EMPATHY, they look at him and don't think he's done anything wrong,💯🕊️⚠️ RIP young man 🕊️ prayers for his loved ones left behind, I'm very very sorry for your loss 💯🍃🙏🍃💯

  3. My condolences to the family. There is no justice system in Canada. What shocks me is how Canada puts out travel advisory’s on other countries when Canada is worse. I feel safer in other countries.

  4. Adult crimes demand Adult processing, and Adult punishment. We are not in the 1970s Canada anymore.
I would be embarrassed to answer these questions the way they are being answered.

  5. Tragic news to hear the death of who is probably a lovely lady and the loss to her family.
One of these suspects was already on probation violations and people are saying they are out on bail already?

If that is true Canada is becoming such a soft on crime limp noodle of a country that will only attract and encourage criminals. Whatever happened to people earning the things they have and being a solid citizen by working, contributing to society, paying your taxes instead of being a hyena, vulture or parasite in our cities and town. Our legal and prison system need to toughen up so that people are actually afraid of the consequences.

  6. How in the fock are they out on bail? People do way less crimes that hurt nobody and spend more time in jail. Fathers that miss child support do more time this country is a joke our government takes away law abiding citizens guns and releases criminals back into the public that had illegal guns.

  8. Absolutely disheartening to know she did not make it and went through such a traumatic event/death. I feel awful for her family and friends but wish them so much healing and justice moving forward. May she rest in peace 😢🙏🏼

  9. Three "YOUTHs" have been charged? it should say "Three Criminals" have been charged… They were arrested because the police had proof they committed a crime. Their age should not be an excuse. Kids learn in kindergarten that stealing is wrong.

  11. Sad State of affairs Canada is in and this will only continue until the Children are removed from Government and we bring back law and order with the Conservatives and Their " Adult " Professional " ideology of how to govern a country, My hearts go out to the 2 Relator's that were slain in this cowardly manner , its just shameful we don not have the same laws as the USA were these young offenders could be brought up to adult court to be tried .I am not going to bash if these young offenders were immigrants but with all the evidence showing The Clown himself Marc Miller and his immigration policies , Canada is Broken and its to late for this incompetent governing we have now to do anything ,,,We Need the Conservatives NOW…!!!
