Bungie, it's not too late. Do this now, and The Final Shape will be INCREDIBLE

This is how, if I were the Lead Writer or Director for The Final Shape, I would finish off this Saga. It’s time for Destiny Campaigns to STOP playing things so SAFE. Forsaken had balls. The Witch Queen had character development, drama, plot twists, and excellent narrative payoffs. Everything else Expansions wise, has been nothing but vanilla and overly safe in narrative and story direction.

It’s time for that to change.

This video will be my three act story structure for how The Final Shape SHOULD finish the Light and Dark Saga. This is my vision for a bold and very dark Campaign, that does not hold back, and makes the Witness not only a good villain, but a GREAT one.

0:00 The Witness Raid
4:07 How I would Direct the post Raid “Kill the Witness” Mission
13:46 The perfect way to end the Light and Dark Saga
15:40 Bungie, it’s not too late! Do THIS! 😉
21:35 How I would Write and Direct The Final Shape (Act I)
23:00 Bungie, place every single awful enemy type all at once! LOL! Last chance! xD
25:10 Act II: Losing our Ghost tragically
29:00 Act III: A revenge story, but to no avail (making the story dark)
31:54 The real, REAL Destiny killer (fully explained, to the best of my knowledge)
35:54 How I would conclude the Campaign
48:24 Concluding the Light and Dark Saga (in an EPIC way!)

  1. Actually, my thought about those hands was that this was some kind of a center of the Pale heart or the traveler. The way that our guardian is trying to reach those hands idk

  2. Honestly, it does feel a little too late. After this expansion, the witness is most likely out and dead. We haven't really seen it shine outside these upcoming expansion trailers, and it really blows. It really needed more to do during LF and the seasons to try and make it as threatening as possible without I fear it'll fall flat if not done masterfully this expansion.

  3. The Witness is probably what im looking forward to the most in TFS & i really hope Bungie does it justice 😔 i think its a good character but the lack of screen time hurts it, hopefully it gets more

  4. I remember my idea of a witness bossfight

Essentially you're fighting this thing a wall of faces grasping limbs reaching for horrid weaponry unseen by anyone. But then you start to activate something, could be runes could be a code, but you start to activate it. And slowly but surely the thing is contained, put away and then out comes the witness doing its best to regain its horrifying form and reshape itself back into that horrid mass.

Whioe its in this form it occasionally sends out a handful of limbs that throw you out of the arena and fire off a couple of ward breaking, well shattering shots before regaining its form as you try to shoot that thing down. Inevitably the final stand approaches, and if you dont reach it but are close to it the witness chooses to not take any chances. Retreating into this hideous ball and cloak of darkness hiding itself form you as its dark cloak bubbles and grows boils all over it. You shoot those down and try to hold it off from one shotting everyone while the mechanc people do their best to decode the runes in order to stop the witness or even do anything. And eventually the orb rips open and the witness is dead. A stream of faces torsos and limbs all shoot out from it and simply drop. The witness is dead. And its remains lie still. You've done it guardian. You've won, yet look at that body, as you should whatever you shout. These pained expressions, the hollow empty looks in their eyes… Can you truly tell yourself that you've won? Or do you see the tragedy of death. And wonder what simple bamal peice of loot yoi got, trampling over the corpse in order to get the drops from the raid chest. How much more do you need to kill in order to understand the tragedy of it? Or have you already understood the tragedy of death, and do your best to be silent.

Just wanted to get that think piece out, but odd, bit different. But I think its cool. Either way, I should probably watch this video now.
