Dog training expert Victoria Stilwell takes on Luca, an American Bulldog mix whose overwhelming fear of the outdoors has stopped him leaving the house for three years. To make matters worse, daughter Jasmine’s new puppy, Murphy, has turned Luca’s safe haven of the house into a hotbed of tension. Luca is not fond of Murphy, and he’s making his feelings known, meaning they must be kept separate at all times.

Good on these owners for trying their hardest to right their ship. I have a friend who wants to get her dog another dog. Her current dog is reactive and doesn’t like 90% of dogs out there. I asked her “Do you think he wants to share his home with another dog?” And she goes “…actually no I don’t. I hadn’t thought of it from his perspective.”

Luka is just like my brother's dog: Artumis. She and my dog: Ruby were half-sisters but Artumis would often attack Ruby. My brother moved out and left Artumis in the family home, but one day, when the two dogs were fighting, Artumis ignored all commands to stop, so we figured she was losing her hearing or her mind. However, because we didn't have the heart to put her to sleep, we gave her to a rescue facility as sort of like a second chance. Also to protect the new baby.

I would have been too worried the puppy would learn the bad habits from the adult dog
Hasn't left the house in 3 years?! They should have gotten a trainer to help with that as soon as it waa a problem. Glad they're getting help now but I really hope Victoria actually helps the dog to cope outside because in recent episodes she's seemingly now ok with them not liking the outdoors despite the fact that's usually a fixable issue
