Building an ARMORED CAR From a V10 Diesel VW Touareg (and then TESTING it!)

We built an armored car out of a V10 diesel Volkswagen Touareg, brought it through a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru, and then tested it ballistically. Built with @_Gingium_ , @VasilyBuilds , and @Vtuned .

  1. Most SUV's manufactured today use a plastic lift gate, and it's installed as one piece in the final assembly line. They are installed pretty early on the line before any of the interior trim is installed. As for older SUV's they had metal lift gates they were on the body and went through the paint process on the vehicle. Typically lift gates are a lot of work to replace, pull all the pillar trim, airbags, headliner then you'll get access to the fasteners and wiring harness.

  2. So a V10 is the base to build an apocalypse ride on 🤔 I get it where do I sign up if I’m not mistaken there were 4 different types of weld this new HTP 2500 produce, it’s a game changer 👍🏾👍🏾

  3. That looked really fun , but I'd hate to pay for the gas mileage with that V10 and all the extra steel…….did you bite anything with the teeth on the front ?

  4. Really cool build, I guess YouTube didn’t like whatever was written on it at the end?

How much weight did it add?
Did they do any suspension upgrading?

I came back to add that, as other mentioned, I also wasn’t a fan of the others tubers in the video. It’s a cool build but their style doesn’t match up well with yours. And the detail that you go through is a big part of a lot of the audience draw.
Also the other YouTubers seem to be pretty childish at times. Nothing wrong with fun but they had a “ja*ka*s vibe to them. Some anyways. Just my opinion, still looking forward to your other projects 👍🏼

  5. Your previous simple DIY videos on cars you purchased were much better than this to be honest. Besides someone going through drive-through was done before, so not really original and nothing cool or impressive. But your other videos are spot on. Keep up good work and stick to your original content!
