  1. with your current 3 batteries you can have 1 battery with 4 add-ons and end up with the same total power stored so you dont have keep trying to figure out how to spread out the power output of each one
and when you want more storage of multiple batteries you can also just daisy chain them

  2. 36:05 You have plenty of energy and power already, if you combine all your batteries using transformers: you have 1687.5 kWh of batteries (3 * 562.5 each), 312 kW of solar, and building load of 89 kW. Your batteries will charge from empty to full in 1687 kWh / (312 kW – 89 kW) = 7.5 hours. But the batteries won't be fully drained each night, as the building is only draining the battery by 8 hours of night * 89 kW = 712 kWh of battery used each night. No need to hope for the best, you can do the math and be sure ahead of time.

  3. OK, so if you had the same amount of darkness as light (12 and 12 hours) you'd need double the charging capacity than the usage. (100 charging for 50 used). Right? Right.
That's because you're using 50 and putting away 50 for later.
With 8 and 16, that's 66 usage for a 100 charge, because you're putting away 33 for twice as long.

  4. You are going to need the Well Extension so it can produce Oxygen for the Habitat and Rover. You should add more Batter Expansions to your batteries not more batteries. You are also going to need power for the wells as you expand them and a pump. Replacing most of the small panels with medium you could use some of the small powers for the wells but you are probably going to need more wells if you build the greenhouse. Also the detector upgrades will let you figure out what is in the Rocks you are mining before you do them.

  5. With the medium solar panels I’ve found that you can’t be close to it at all otherwise it will be red. You almost have to place the panel at the build distance limit. It’s annoying when you don’t know.

  6. Some tip: You dont need to put in power and water values in the building meny for the incubators manualy up and down, that take long time. You click on the demand value in the screen and it change it for you, fast and easy. And when you need more water you can connect 3 wells to a pump (In and output change depend on what you connect it to) and than to youre base.

  7. Tip for you, in the main menu under options (I think under user) you can turn on the z key, so that it is always on. Also to rotate and raise/lower objects use the arrow keys on your key board. Under mechanical tech you may wish to get the tech just above the corridor tech as it has the habitat and bathroom modules. If you build those two habs you can sleep 8 hours and get water from the bathroom, instead of from the well. The Rover has internal O2 and can go days with out recharging it and come with a bed, a power point to recharge from and onboard storage. Have a Great one!!!

  8. – rather than building several transformers and batteries, which all require a circuit board, it's better to build one and upgrade it bunch of times (5 upgrades can be added to them), it also uses less resources since you add two sets of plugs/batteries with each upgrade
    – you can put the "strange rocks" into your inventory by using the Ctrl + click, you can then drop it down by dragging it outside the tablet
    – you can double click on items in inventory to use them or equip them if not usable (if there is an empty slot in hotbar), if a storage is opened it will move the stack in it instead
    – you can split a stack in half by holding Shift and dragging the stack into empty slot
    – to move saplings from one place to another use the plant box, big one can hold almost entire incubator content, right click to hide it and pick the last plant in hand in order to move all plants at once
    – you can't plant different plants into same incubator/hydroponic shelf since they have different growth requirements (that's why there are 3 incubators in greenhouse)
    – you need fields to grow beetroots to maturity, fields need 1 dirt per plant (18 total if I remember right), dirt can be acquired by recycling silicone in composter
    – for fertilizer you need bathroom module and use the toilet there, to connect it to base you need special connector too, fertilizer only speeds up the growth so it's not necessary
