  1. I wish the USA had vehicle tests like the UK. You can drive an oxide skeleton with bald tyres, shot shocks and no lights. I have seen them so often, they must never get pulled over.

  2. Could you regear it to get some mileage back and probably a little performance? Or possibly a manual swap if you wanted it to be a manual that might give you a litte extra gearing because typically automatic cars have a lower gear ratio than manual cars but not always and its usually not a big difference but its something.

  3. I bought a Suzuki Jimny (similar car to the X90 but smaller) last year for my girlfriend, but we literally did the opposite to you πŸ˜› It's tiny and easy to park so suited her perfect, but it came with lots of off-roading mods, so I removed a bullbar, snorkel, towbar, spare wheel and put summer tyres on it. I saved 160lbs and it went from getting 200 miles to a tank, to getting 300 miles to a tank. Works out at nearly 35 mpg (or about 42mpg for us in the UK)

  4. This kinda bothered me, because the car probably needed some mechanical work, and instead of making sure the engine, transmission, and exhaust were solid, it seems like he did mostly cosmetic work on the car.
