OHHHH shit. This happened to everyone last week that got viewbotted on Kick. Remember when Buddha had like 3million views? That happened to other people too on kick and everyone's twitch was getting hacked. but Twitch has safeguards in place so people cant get sensitive info.
I remember my Instagram got banned but way before that i received an email someone loging in and when i retrieve it . Its a different account that has all my info. Somehow IG banned me lol
I've said it before; and i'll say it again; Omie the actual Homie!~ it was said yesterday aswell, but imagine if this had happened dead at night for him, would've been terrible and frighting for him. Low-key best timing he could've had; He wasn't live on Twitch, Omie was there to have his back, Nidas was in discord aswell providing advice etc. so it got resolved "relatively quick"
His browser he logged into got sniffed and they stole the authkey stored in the browser that lets you remain logged in for extended sessions/opening the browser again. That's the only way to bypass 2fa other than outright copying a device or social engineering the company to remove 2fa from an account once they know the account details.

2FA only protects you, but it doesn't matter if the other half of the 2FA is the one who's compromised.
