Lads, as a Clare man, it wasn't the referee that cost them the game, It was there shooting efficiency that let Clare down 23/52 Limerick 24/39. Clare had the beating of Limerick yesterday and didn't take there chances, Simples, Stone wall free alright at the end but wasn't
the reason they lost it.
Hegarty judged by refs from the past, looks like he is judged by the media too. He was struck twice as he approached goal, yet the clare man gets away with it
Michael talks so much sense, im a kk man but would love to see Waterford win that all Ireland. 59 is far too long for a great hurling county to go without winning one. Mcgrath mullane etc some of the greatest players to ever play , hon Waterford.
No matter what county you come from a free is a free and some of the refereeing in both codes is just a disgrace, anyone that says that Tony Kelly didn't deserve a free is not a genuine supporter.I think the ref bottled it , a pure disgrace

There is a lot of controversy about Clare not getting a free at the end of the game but nobody has mentioned the fact that the game should actually been blown up over one minute and twenty seconds before that. Don't be blaming the referee as he had given Clare that extra over injury time.
