  1. It's too early to say Bryce is a bust. Dude got drafted to a dumpster fire of a team, had his number one receiver traded so that the panthers can draft him. Was behind a terrible Oline, had a bad coach his rookie year, an unproven coach his second year (that did not do enough to make the transition easier for Bryce) and has had non stop criticism about him since game one. He has not been in a system that allows him to learn the game and get to be NFL ready. Not every QB will be a CJ Stroud. Even when you look at CJ , he has had a better supporting cast with receivers, O line, coaching staff and defense. If you put any other rookie QB in that panthers offense and they would struggle too. If the panthers, and every other team, were smart, they should have brought in a veteran QB to allow Bryce to learn from and understand the game at the NFL level before starting. Look at Patrick Mahomes sitting behind Alex Smith. The best example are the packers, Aaron Rogers sat behind Brett Farve at first, same with Jordan Love. I constantly hear that the QB position is the hardest to learn and be good at in all of sports. So why do we not apply that context when a QB struggles? There are so many factors that can play into any players performance, especially so for QB's. Can we give the guy some time and allow him to find figure things out and grow? I mean is it a surprise if he was given a festering turd of an offense and were expected to turn that turd into a diamond? Additionally, I feel the first few seasons of a players career are the most important because that is when habits are formed, both good and bad. Being in a dysfunctional system will lead to bad habits like making poor decisions when passing, poor footwork, not going through progressions, inability to read coverages, etc… As a good organization with competent coaching staff, one could see that he should have sat last year to learn under a veteran first. And to those using Andy Dalton as an example to confirm Bryce is a bust, of course he would do better. I would expect a player with at least 5-10 years of experience to play better.

  2. So…..they got a coach that is good a resurrecting QB's careers…. You mean QB'S like Andy Dalton? The kid needs to get someone to bring back his confidence n build an offense around his skill sets like Campbell did for Goff in Detroit. I never understood why coaches try to fit players into their offensive strategies… build around your teams strong suits n you'll get much further

  3. Im tired of this
Jordan love was drafted in 2020 he started 2023
    Hmmmm
Now you draft a QB Ie Justin fields but have no support system change front office and coaching staff after one year you threw him to the wolves
This should have happened last year and he carries the clip board your not treating him as a number 1 pick if while you worked out the kinks with the front office and coaching staff and allowed him to get acclimated to NFL speed and being rich he should have been redshirted
Andy Dalton is good but how long has he been in the league
He is no rookie and he is a good player it was a good choice if he started last year and lead the team for three while the organization via front office and coaching staff work out the kinks he is still the future and face of the franchise
Why are you acting like dude is a scrub

One man's trash is another man's treasure

Look at Malik Willis after sitting a year bet the Titans wish they had that trade back

    I'm just saying
What is the development time for a conventional QB
    Please tell me

  4. When will GM's/Owners learn!?!? How do u give up 2 first round picks, 2 second round picks and ur #1 receiver for a QB who hasn't played a single snap in the NFL. I understand wanting to select a QB in the 1st round of the draft but ur better off waiting until u get to select in top 5 (since ur team will probably be selecting early if u need a QB) instead of selling off all ur picks which will only hurt ur new QB so its counterproductive.

  5. Everybody is tripping. When the bengals picked up Dalton they went to the playoffs every year! I’ve always loved watching him play and can’t believe he’s not a starter in the league. This league gives up on players way too fast. Same way they gave up on cam Newton

  6. I’m a life long panthers fan. Haven’t missed a game since 2002 and Bryce is maybe worse than Jimmy clausen. He has the potential to be decent but he has a horrible habit of running out of clean pockets and immediately firing off check down throws short of the sticks. I think the time behind dalton will serve him well but I think he’ll be more of a journey man back up / occasional starter. Kind of like Brissett, Darnold, etc… maybe he stays in Carolina next year but I’d prefer to trade and get a few assets and move on
