@Dr Alexander Clarke Well I just got some news, my mum is okay
Would you beat Drachinfell at a game of Axis and Allies?
The only true test of strategy.
How about a Xmas special Axis & Allies challenge?
Global 1940 2nd edition. Low luck for Dice, bombing and AAA. Tech on with Low luck.
Whoever’s Allies gets a 15 credits handicap bonus. Including a mandatory Anzac infantry(3) on New Guinea. This stops Japan from annihilating, all Australia’s chances of national bonuses in Rd1.
And optional; 1 extra destroyer (8) with Britain’s Cruiser by Gibraltar. To stop Germany destroying every Royal Navy ship in the entire Atlantic on Rd1. And 1 British Artillery (4) in Sudan. But the 12 credits can be spent on alternate options. You have to edit them in on Rd1, before Germany does its go.
Typically, if both players are experienced, it will last about 4-5 hours. You can play for free on TripleA games site for practice.
I think Drach will be a very tough opponent but so will you, so it’s impossible to say who’ll win.
3:27:17 "Kyev II" whether to add Mk29-like trainable box launchers or park some of the landing forces' own, reloadable missile launchers o the deck. (Will be Edited for the original question earlier in video).
4:02:00 Kirov-panic, USS Tillmann BBG : Prolly as much commonality with the Nimitz hull as possible – again, with consideration to use arm/box launchers in addition to VLS farms, to make use of cavernous hull vs limited deck space (sq-cube law)
3:38:40 Flywheel energy storage (for EMALS) – I guess these also can act as stabilising gyros for the ship, prolly for thankfull pilots.
A Battle Barge would be too wimpy for Warspite. Warspite would need at least a Gloriana Battleship. At the high end, The Phalanx. Battle Barges are more akin to a Marine assault ship than a battleship. Tough hull but the weapons for long range ship to ship are not really there.
HMS Habbakuk was to be 600m in length. Thats about the length of an Immobilizer "Interdictor" 418 cruiser. So very roughly, a third the length of an standard ISD.
3:54:50 Space battlecarrier Habbakuk in the SB Yamato-verse…
0:35:23 Happens when in comments I state, that attacking Russia, with big, block German tanks – named after big cats – in the Kharkov-Kursk area is NOT a good idea.
Aren’t the Farragut destroyers in commission 2 years before the County class destroyers? 1960 vs 1962. I think it is fair to compare the ships
